It was a month later.
You ended your spring break that you were on for three weeks. It actually worked out since you had very limited vision in that time period.
You could barely walk without help. How would you even see lessons? It lined up perfectly.
You finished up the semester and just got out of school a week ago.
Your birthday was in less than a month.
It was currently June 12.
Your birthday was a week and two days away.
You were having some college friends over. You had been with them for 4 years.
College was finally done. You were finally done with school, it was over. No more Elementary School, Junior High, High School, or College. It was done and you could not be happier.
Roger came to your homecoming. It was very nice. He wore a red velvety suit he had from some tour he went on a while ago. It fit him very nicely although you preferred him with his casual wear.
You wore a strapless, colored blocked dress with sinches on each side.
By the end of the night after partying and drinking with your friends at a local bar, both you and Roger's outfits were gone in the bedroom.
Leah had been helping you with the birthday party. It was going pretty well so far.
You rented out a small bar nearby. You had a guest list of around 30.
You had a dress which was very pretty. It was red and velvet without a back. It tied around your body in the back and that was it. You also got some cute new black heels, not like you already had 10 pairs of them, but these ones were slightly more pointy on the toe.
"What time is it going to be at?" Leah said.
It was some very last-minute planning. You were always organized, just always last minute.
"6 pm to maybe Midnight?" You asked.
Leah was over helping you. You both were sitting on the couch. She leaned her body against you.
You had a cup of steaming Earl Grey tea in your hand.
"Bar closes at 11 pm."
"Ok, then 6 pm to 11 pm?" You said like it was obvious.
"Caters?" She asked. "It's not my fucking wedding Le? No, Mary promised to make food." You told her.
Roger asked the band if they could do anything so Freddie signed Mary up for food, of course after he asked her.
Your boss and best friend, Madi was gonna do your makeup. She also picked out your dress and heels.
"Who the hell is Mary?" Leah asked.
"Freddie's girlfriend. Did you meet her? No, I don't think so." The last part more to yourself
"Oh right. Well then, it's settled. Your birthday is all planned." Leah said.
You got off the couch and headed towards the kitchen. You grabbed a bag of crisps and the bottle of tequila and walked back to the couch.
The door unlocked and opened. You didn't know who it was going to be. Who had a key to the flat besides Roger and Leah? Roger still had a couple of hours left for band practice and Brian was strict on the exact amount of time they practiced each day.
"Hello, darlings," Freddie says as he walked in and went into the small closet by the bathroom.
"Hi, Freddie what are you doing?" You asked, watching him rummage through the closet.
"Did you clean out this closet by any chance?"
"Uh no? Why?"
"Well I like hid a piece of paper in here on accident and I really need it."
"You hid a piece of paper in their closet?" Leah asked.
"Yes! And I need it!" He said raising his voice and not turning away from the closet.
"Here let me look." You said getting up.
"No-I mean you can't see it." He said, dumping a bin of linens out.
"Hah, I found it!" He waved around a small yellow piece of paper.
There were marks of graphite all over the back. Crossed out lines covering it.
"What is it?" Leah asked peeping out from behind you.
"It's the greatest written song in history." He raised his head proudly and walked towards the door.
"Why was it in a bin of linens in our closet?"
"Don't question it darling." He says and waved a kiss to the two of you sitting on the couch as he walked out the door in his flamboyant shoes.
You watched the window near the staircase as you saw the top of his head trot down it quickly.
You and Leah looked at the closet and started laughing at what just happened.
