A New Journey

"You can do it, Love, I know you can."

Your screams echoed throughout the hospital room.

"Come on hun almost there just a few more pushes!" The nurse encouraged.

You pushed with everything in you.

OH the pain was excruciating but you were in it this far, there wasn't really any turning back, only going forward.

And with that, you pushed out your child. 

You look down at your newborn child. How beautiful it was.

Yet crazy to think that thing was inside of you a few seconds ago.

"It's a girl!" The doctor exclaimed to you handing you your newborn daughters. 

Happy tears streamed down your face as you felt her skin, her bald head, her tiny little hands.

Rog stood leaning over you and your guy's daughter, his tears dripping down onto your shoulder.

You looked up and smiled at Roger trying to ignore the absolute pain you were in your lower regions.

Oh, you were so unbelievably happy to finally have a child within your hands.

You've been trying over and over and over and finally, here she was in your arms. You wouldn't trade this for the world. It was the best. You are a mom the thing you've always wanted.

You can provide for this life this child.

YOU GREW THIS CHILD FROM A LITTLE SPERM AND EGG! The feeling was the best thing you've ever felt and you'll have it for the rest of your life hopefully.

You can care for her every night, tucking her in, taking care of her when she's sick, bringing her to school, making her meals, teaching her things. It's all on you know to make her have a perfect life.

A new journey for you and Roger to take together.

"So does that mean..." Roger's voice trailed off as he stared into the child's eyes. Not just any child, your child.

You looked at him and nodded. 

"Joan Harper Taylor." You both said and smiled.

"Is that her name?" The nurse asked.

"Yup!" You smiled leaving a little kiss on Joan's forehead. 

Her eyes were gently closed as her hand wrapped around your pointer finger. She was actually not the prettiest child but you couldn't wait to see her grow into the most beautiful child ever. 

Her blue eyes blinked open looking at you. 

"Hello love," Roger whispered looking at her. 

"This is it," Roger said. You weren't sure what he meant.

After a few days, you got to bring Joan home to the flat. Roger carried her bassinet showing her around the flat.

"And this is the kitchen where I and your mum will make you all sorts of yummy meals." He told her walking her around.

"And the living room, this is where we will cuddle you and watch movies together. OH! And we can't forget the record player here! This thing will play us music so we can dance! And you can listen to all of your pop's new albums!"

He was already such a great father.

"And here is mum and me's room! This isn't where we made you but we've had some wild nights on this bed!" He said laughing.

"Rog!" You said laughing as well.

"What she doesn't know what I'm saying!" Roger said. 

You exhaled while still laughing.

He continued with the tour. 

"This is your room! Now it's not much you see but it's gonna be wonderful! Incredible! You're gonna love it! But don't worry your old dad here will buy you a big old house one day when our band SKY ROCKETS!!!" He said tickling her little nose. He smiled at her.

"Look at us," Roger said bringing you in for a hug.

"Here we are my love, we've made it.' He said.

"We sure have." You said kissing him.

And that's a wrap! Omg, I can't believe it! I started writing this story in June of 2020 then really got into it around January of 2021 then published it first in March of 2021 and here we are and it's done in April of 2022! I've been thinking about how I wanted to end it and so I think just a sweet and clean ending was the way to go. Thank you all so much for your love and support. This isn't the ending though, only the beginning (pfttt that's so cliche to say I'm sorryyyy) This was also my first story and I think I've definitely grown as a writer over this year. I have a few new ideas for a story although it probably won't be a roger fanfic, I'm sorry. I want to branch out and make my own story with my own characters. But yeah, anyways thank you so much for everything this past month, I can't thank you enough. 2.7K reads, I didn't know I'd ever get this far and it's all thanks to you guys so thank you.
