I know I usually put a photo of the magnificent Roger but I wanted to add the wedding dress that I used for the story. I did add a few tweaks. Anyways enjoy the happy couple!
~Present time~
"And do you Roger Meddows Taylor take Y/N to be your lawfully wedded wife. Through sickness and through health?"
"I do."
"If there are any objections to this wedding, this is your time to speak up." He said to an empty crowd beside Leah as a witness.
"WAIT PLEASE!" A huffing, obviously exhausted woman came running in.
You didn't recognize her. Both of Roger's hands dropped from holding yours.
Leah turned around in shock and embarrassment.
"Wait are you guys not Ashley Keller and Brett Manolo?" She said looking at the two of you.
You in your beautiful flowing wedding gown embordered with white flowers all along the neckline and long sleeves making it see-through in those parts.
The neckline plunged a few inches, revealing some cleavage that Leah helped you put makeup on to be "perfect."
You had gentle makeup on.
Glowing concealer under your eyes and some on a few blemishes.
You had rosy cheeks and a rosy nose, blush guilty of that. Your freckles shined through the blush.
Gentle contour framed your cheekbones and jawline.
Your eyebrows were filled in and darker than usual. They didn't seem out of place with your other features but you still weren't exactly used to them this filled in and dark.
Your eyelashes were long and beautiful as they dripped (hypothetically) with mascara.
Your eye had a smoked-out brown eyeshadow and eyeliner around your eye, making it the perfect makeup look for this day and age.
You had a peachy nude lip with a gloss that shined in the light.
You followed all the popular 1974 makeup trends you could find and combined them together to make the perfect 70's wedding makeup look.
Your dress was also a popular trendy style.
Luckily you enjoyed the style of it as it showed off your thin waist and good size breasts.
Your light brown hair cascaded down your back, mostly covered with a puffy veil. Your long nails were painted in a perfect white coat with a black pattern on top, giving them a bit of a 60's mod nod.
"Uhm no. Who the fuck are you?" Leah said as the four of you stared at the breathless girl.
She had a long yellow satin dress on that was held up with two small straps.
Her black shiny hair ran neatly over her shoulders, obvious of the hours of work it took to detangle it and curl it.
"Oh man, I'm really sorry. Oh shit, shit, shit." She said.
She had her hand clasped over her mouth in the biggest bucket of embarrassment that could fill a single person.
"You look beautiful Miss." She said looking at you with a smile.
"Thank you?" You say. It was an awkward position and the awkwardness in your voice prominently showed.
"They get married in three hours Ma'am." the priest you guessed that's what you called him who was marrying the two of you said.
"Ok. Thank you. I'm really, really sorry I'll leave now." She said turning out of the small chapel and running away.
She waited till she left the chapel before picking up the pace.
You turned away from the entrance back to Roger, stifling your laughter.
He also held back his laughter. You knew that face when he did.
He was usually pretty good about knowing when it was a good time to laugh and when it wasn't.
Of course, he broke a few times before but you never got mad at him for it. It was human nature, he couldn't help himself. Usually, you would join him in the laughter.
The priest guy's hand scanned the book he was reading from. He stopped his finger and repeated the line.
"If there are any objections to this wedding, this is your time to speak up." He said and looked around. You and Leah both shook your head gently.
"Well then, you may kiss the bride now Mr. Taylor." The priest said.
Roger wrapped his hands around your face as you wrapped yours around his neck, still overly careful of the scar even though he couldn't feel anything there, it sorta creeped you out.
His lips met with yours as you opened your mouth, grasping onto his.
Leah cheered and the priest clapped.
You were almost glad no one but Leah was here.
You couldn't imagine a huge group of people sitting there as you joined together for eternity.
The thought of your mom and dad, aunts and uncles, your one surviving grandma, and other family sat there watching you and Roger passionately kiss. It grossed you out.
Roger met your family and most of them liked him.
Your Nana Rose was skeptical but she respected your decisions with him.
You were glad she was able to attend your wedding ceremony. Your other older family aren't able as they also make a vow for eternity.
A vow of death.
You pulled away before it got uncomfortably long for the others in the room.
You took Roger's hand and walked down the aisle.
You looked at him and had the biggest smile that ever crossed your face in your 23 years of life.
Now in your 23 years of life had you ever played to get married so young.
No, absolutely not.
Your child self told you to wait till at least 30.
That's when your Aunt Becky got married to her husband and it was good enough for you.
But what's 7 fucking years.
Roger Meddows Taylor was the man.
The man you will spend the rest of your life with. The man you will have your children with. The man you will lay for eternal rest next to.
Leah blew bubbles as you walked past her and down the other aisles of benches that are supposed to hold your loved ones.
Leah filled out of her seat after the two of you cheering as you and Roger looked at you, the happiest you both ever were.
You wondered what was happening in his mind.
The same emotions maybe? Thoughts of our future? Thinking of what will happen when you get back to the hotel room? The sex that will take place? The traditional first shagging of a married couple and how extremely beautiful it will be? The awkwardness of a minute ago with the girl? It was all in your mind.
You opened the door dramatically with Roger and walked out, with your newly-wedded husband.
