It's a few days later and it's the day of your date. 

Leah was over at your house helping you out. 

She had amazing fashion taste, you hoped she could someday get some money for her style cause it was that amazing. 

She was doing your hair. She pinned your long bangs back around your house and braided it down. 

"You look beautiful and I can see you can feel it," she says as you re-pierce your ear to put his your big hoop earrings. it slightly bleeds.

"Leah can you get a napkin," you ask as she runs to get it. the blood immediately stops. 

Your dress was short and green with little sunflower on it and it was ruched with drawstring straps. 

You sat up and twirled around. 

You only wore slight makeup with blush, mascara, and a red lip. 

You called your mom to tell her the news of your new dude and date and she seemed excited, she was like your best friend. 

"ok babe we better get on our way or you're going to be late," Leah says. 

"ok. I'm so nervous and so excited," you say. 

"I can't wait to meet your lover!" Leah says. 

"do you love him?" she adds." "it feels like it but I've never been in love love before."

"well if he fucks you tonight, it could make or break," Leah responded. 

"oh my lord, Leah." you say scoffing. "what!" she says grabbing her keys and locking the door. 

She decided to get over her feud with you. She's been begging you to get a boyfriend and she said for some reason she doesn't like him, didn't see him like that. she hasn't seen men in a relationship kinda way for a while now. You didn't know if she was just saying cause she was jealous but was a good friend or something was actually happening. You didn't understand why she was still putting up that act though.

You get into the car. "I wonder what you're gonna eat for your picnic what you're gonna do!" she says. 

She has been excited for you. You told her all about your night with him. She seemed off but she didn't wanna talk about it. 

"Let's play some Queen songs for you can gently hum it and he gets a nice ego boost and loves you even more!" 

You thought it was a good idea but not a good reason. 

You did it anyway. 

She had both Queen and Queen ii tapes. She slid them into the player and the sweet sound of Keep Yourself Alive came on. "I was told a million times, Of all the troubles in my way, Mind you grow a little wiser" You both sang. 

Finally, you arrived at the park that apparently Leah was instructed to go to. 

You didn't see Roger and you started to get nervous. Did he realize he didn't like you? Where was he? 

Leah interrupted your thoughts. 

"Go straight ahead, to the path, turn right, then a left at the group of trees. There will be a hollowed-out tree, walk through that and walk North you will soon see Roger." She unlocked the van. 

"Thank you, I'll call you tomorrow."

"I better hear every detail." She says. "I promise." You say as you shut the door. "Lovey," she says rolling down the window. "Yes?"

"Please be careful," she says. "I can take care of myself," you say. She nods and you follow her instructions. Was it left or right at the path? It was right? No, it was left. Ugh, what did she say! You couldn't remember.
