I was woken up by the illuminating light from my window and from its heat. I adjusted my eyes from the bright light of the morning and stretched.

My eyes widen in shock when I saw the time on the clock right above the TV. It's 6.45, it's monday. I groaned in frustration before I forced myself to get up and get ready.

I took a quick shower and put on a white t-shirt and black jeans. But when I saw my reflection on the mirror, I realized that the cuts in my arms are visible for people to see.

I sighed and went to my closet to find something that could cover it up. I found a grey sweater and quickly put it on. I then realized that my light brown hair was still in its messy bun from the night before. Its not like I care if I look like this, but I pulled it up on a ponytail with some strands falling; framing my face.

I put on my shoes and grabbed my bag before I went down stairs. Gramps and Grandma is sitting on the dining table, with Gramps drinking some coffee and reading the paper and Grandma eating oatmeal and drinking her morning tea.

"Good morning," Grandma said when I reached the table and grabbed an apple.

"Morning, got to go, bye!" I said waving at them.

"Do you want me to take you to school?" Gramps offered, looking up from his paper.

"No thanks Gramps, I'll take the bus, thanks," I replied.

"Bye! Have a great day!" Gramps said as i walked out the door.

Great day? At school? I don't think so.

I fast-walked while eating my apple to the bus stop that Gramps has told me when we're having dinner.

On the way, I threw my apple in someone's trash can and continued my walk to the bus stop.

And with my luck, when I was steps away from the bus stop, the doors of the bus closed and the bus went away leaving me standing there with my mouth open.

What a good way to start the day!

I sighed and decided to walk to school, even though it would mean U would be late for first period.

"You should've accepted gramps offer, stupid," I complained to myself as I continued swearing on the way to school.

Not long after that, I heard a honk of a car. At first I ignored it, thinking that it isn't for me. But the car kept honking that my ears couldn't bear it anymore. I turned around with an annoyed face and saw a BMW sports car. I was about to turn away but then I saw a familiar face, smirking.

It's the boy who broke my phone.

But he looks more bad and messy and not like the excited boy I saw in the airport.

"I'm guessing that you need a ride," He said, his voice sounding more calm.

"No," I said turning around and started walking.

He followed me, "Liar, you'll be late if you keep walking like that."

"I don't recall asking for your opinion," I said, getting pissed.

"C'mon, a ride from me won't hurt, right? And I owe you anyway," He said with that puppy-dog face that made him look more stupid than before.

After a fair number of me saying no and he pleading me, I finally gave up and went inside his car.

The seat was soft and comfortable, I could probably fall asleep any second.

"So, we haven't really introduced ourself, so, I'm Nolan Anderson," he said, still focused on the road
