Ω Hiccup's POV Ω

I'll admit that I was scared of Jack's rage. And I was sure that Ares calling Jack old because of his hair was not the reason he snapped. There must've been a real deep reason for that level of anger to come out of my friend. Honestly, I was just glad I was on Jack's side.

So now, as we walked out of the abandoned orphanage, we followed cautiously behind jack, avoiding the trail of ice he left behind as he stomped along. Above his head was a small flurry of snow, which fell onto his head and somehow made his hair look even more white.

"He's pissed." Merida whispered to me so that only I could hear. I gave her a look and crossed my arms, "Oh wow, I couldn't tell," I said sarcastically, earning a scowl from Merida.

Rapunzel glances from us to Jack and sucked in a deep breath before tapping his shoulder. "Jack?"

He didn't answer, but the blizzard seemed to calm down ever so slightly.

"Jack." She repeated a bit more demanding.

Jack gave a sharp breath before grumbling his response, "What?"

"You need to calm down unless you want to grow icicles on your nose." She sighed, placing her hand on his shoulder. Jack looked at her for a moment before looking forward and letting out a big long breath. The snow stopped falling and the newest part of his ice path turned into a puddle.

"What was that back there?" I asked, stepping forward so that I was right next to him.

"Nothing." He muttered, keeping his gaze foreword. We all frowned as he finally glanced back at us. "It's not important, alright? Don't worry about it. It was just the atmosphere and his stupid aura."

That was partly true, I know that, but there was something missing still to his words.

"Alright well we better get to our next locations... What's the third?" Merida asked.

Jack pulled out his list without a word and handed it to her. She scanned the paper, squinting it carefully. Out of all four of us, she was the only demigod with dyslexia. Not all demigods get both ADHD and the reading disorder. On rare occasion, a half blood won't get either.

"Maine." She read slowly looking at us all. "We need a ride, don't we?"

"My drivers license was taken away... After I slammed it into another car to see if the bumpers I made worked..." I admitted. Everyone shook their heads as they never applied for one either.

"There's no bus that takes us that far..." Rapunzel said, tapping her fingers against her crossed arms.

I thought for a moment before a thought suddenly occurred to me. "I actually know someone who could help!" I exclaim and fish through my pocket to grab a drachma. "He's a demigod who went to a mortal college, and he happens to be my half brother."

Everyone looked at me questionably, though Rapunzel and Merida seemed to have a small idea.

"Tadashi Hamada." I said proudly and spotted a hose not too far away from here, attached to a small tool shed in front of the orphanage. "Someone go create a rainbow with that thing."

Merida saluted and ran over, turning the water on and pointing it in a certain angel that the mist created the rainbow.

Rapunzel and Jack trailed behind me as I flipped the drachma between my fingers. "You'll like him, im sure, Jack. In a way, you remind me of him."

"I heard a guy could never be friends with himself." Jack said, scratching the side of his nose.

"That's not always true." I chuckle and flip the gold coin into the mist, chanting the next few words. "O' Goddess, accept my offering. Show me Tadashi Hamada."

The image rippled until the college boy I mentioned showed up on the screen. And for some reason there was another boy in front of him, smiling. I recognized him immediately as Hiro Hamada, Tadashi's genius younger brother who was also my half brother. The only difference between the three of us was the fact that the Hamada siblings had the same mother so they were full on brothers.

"Hi." I said abruptly, making the two flinch.

"Hiccup!" Tadashi yelped turning towards me. "Why are you-?"

"We need a ride." Merida said, squeezing herself into view. "pronto."

"They're on a quest." Hiro cut in, nudging his brother on the arm. "With that son of Khione I told you about."

"Can I see him?!" Tadashi beamed, trying to get a look.

"You can if you come here and drive us to Maine." I laugh and glance over to jack who had a small smile etched onto his face.

"Maine? Well... I guess I could drive you there." He nodded and got up to grab his keys. "where are you?"

"Just outside of New York City, at the abandoned orphanage."

He laughed and pointed a finger at me. "ok wait just a bit, don't let the ghost of Annie start singing to you."

"Can I come?" Hiro asked looking up at his brother. Tadashi looked at me and I returned a small nod. "yes!"

"Ok, We'll see you two later." I wave my hand through the call and his image disappears. "sit tight guys, he's on his way."

Ω Jack's POV Ω

This guy was already on my nice list, even if I haven't met him yet, or got a good look at his face in that matter.

And I liked him even more when he pulled up in his car. His brother hopped out first and he came out with a kind smile on his face, that would make anyone like him.

"Jack Frost." Tadashi grinned and held his hand out. I reluctantly shook it, with a firm grip. "Never thought I'd meet a demigod as unique as you."

"I'm guessing being a son of Khione is not the most common thing in the world." I laugh, grinning back up at him.

"It's not, but it is certainly interesting."

Hiro walked up to me and shook my hand. "I'm guessing Hiccup told you my name?"

"Uh huh." I nodded, "Hiro?"

"Yup." he smiled, "Im gonna decide to trust you."

"Thanks?"

Tadashi hit the top of his brother's head and gestured to the car. "Enough. lets just get going."

---Ω---

I sat in the front with Tadashi. Apparently, it wasn't his car, it was his friend, Wasabi's, van. A normal cart wouldn't fit all six of us without getting a ticket.

"Maine..." Tadashi spoke, turning on his right blinker. "Last I heard, Artemis's hunters were down there."

"That's also where Percy was supposed to be..." Hiccup added, leaning forward to the two of us.

"The hunters?" I asked, looking at the two.

"Pretty much a group of girls who go out, kick monster butt, and oh yeah, hate boys." Tadashi explained briefly.

Great, I thought, more people who hate me.

"But there's one girl named Thalia who is probably the nicest one there." Hiccup added and patted my shoulder, "it'll be fine."

Tadashi nodded, his eyes still on the road. "You should get some sleep, all of you. This will be a long ride."

Remember the prophecy guys...

"Four halfbloods shall go, teamed with snow,
Reclaim objects of their gods, made long ago,
One will lose sanity, from a family burden,
And a friend will be lost behind silver curtains,
Beware of the beast that will decide your own fate,
One life will be lost...
But all good things to those who wait."
