Ω Jack's POV Ω
"Jack...." echoed a soft voice. "jack..."
I opened my eyes slowly... but I wasn't in the bus... was I dead?
"Jack..." continued the voice. I quickly turned around in circles to see where it was coming from.
"Hello?" I called, my eyebrows furrowed in frustration.
"Jack!" the voice yelled from my right. I turned to see an old scene.. or rather, memory of mine.
It was me in third grade, in my old boarding school, with all my old classmates and teacher.
"Jack, I don't know why you keep zoning out in class but it has got to stop!" the voice said, that I now realized belong to the teacher.
The young me nodded and tried to ignore the giggling from everyone around me. I wanted to go up and support him but when I tried, my hand just went through him.
"This has happened ten times this week." she continued, tapping her yard stick against my desk.
"It's not my fault... I just get distracted easily, ma'am." jack mumbled, avoiding contact with the teacher as he kept staring at the pen marks on his desk.
"Are you talking back to me, mister?" she snapped.
"What? no!" Young Jack and I said together. This was so humiliating for me to watch all over again.
"Go wait for me in the hallway." she ordered, pointing her long ruler in the direction of the door.
Jack grumbled and scooted out of his desk, walking out the door with a look that could kill.
Once the door shut, giggling erupted even louder from the students. I remembered this all too much.
The teacher talked about the lesson for a couple minutes to the rest of the class, then she'll come out to me and give a long lecture about paying attention in class and getting a good nights rest.
But something was wrong. right before the teacher left, I saw a devilish smirk against her lips.
The scene shifted so that I stood outside with the young Jack and the annoying devil teacher.
"Here comes the lecture..." I muttered, rolling my eyes.
But no words came. instead, there was a low growl, echoing throughout the dark hallway.
On Jack's face was pure terror, and when I followed his gaze, I realized it was the hideous creature in front of him.
That creature was my teacher.
"What?" I whispered taking a step back in confusion. "This isn't at all how it happened."
The monster had snakes slithering all over her head, their reptilian eyes focused on jack.
"A gorgon." I breathed. instinctively, I reached for my necklace... but it wasn't there. "What the-"
"M-Miss... G?" the young me stuttered, pressing up against the lockers.
"Son of Khione." she grinned, "I knew I smelled a halfblood."
The gorgon, or miss G, raised her taloned hand up, ready to slice Jack up into bits.... but it never happened.
"Lousy sister of Medusa." said a voice from behind the Gorgon.
Suddenly, I sword stabbed into Miss G's stomach and she instantly dissipated into dust.
Behind where she stood, was a tall teenager. he had tattoos branded on his arms and on his forehead. With messy, faded brown hair. on his back were two boomerangs, lined with celestial bronze, with a celestial bronze sword grasped in his large hand.
"You ok kid?" he said, sheathing his sword. the man had a thick Australian accent, that both the Jack's were surprised they could understand.
"Wh-what? how did you-?" Young Jack said, unable to form a complete sentence.
"Lets not ask questions, eh?" he sighed.
"What are you?" Young Jack asked anyway.
The man rolled his eyes. "the Easter bunny." he said sarcastically. "No, you idiot. I'm a demigod. and so are you. The Name's Bunnymund by the way."
"A demigod?" jack said softly, obviously confused.
Bunnymund looked jack up and down. "How old are you?"
"I'm in third grade."
Bunny tapped his chin and thought for a moment. "too young I'll have say... HEY SANDY!"
Right away, a shirt man with blonde hair came running down the hallway.
"Oi, Sandy. I think this guy will have to wait until we bring him to camp. can you do that snap thing with the mist?" bunny said, fingering the hilt of his sword.
Sandy nodded stepped up to Jack with a smile plastered on his face.
"Sorry kid, but we have to alter your memory. I'm sure we'll meet again... if you survive that long." bunny smirked and saluted to Young jack.
Sandy looked up at Jack, and Jack looked down at Sandy. none of them said a word as the short man snapped his fingers in front of Jack's eyes.
The Young me looked dizzy for a second before brainlessly walking back into the room, completely ignoring Bunnymund and Sandy. And none of the classmates paid him any attention, or the new teacher standing in the front of the class.... a complete replica of miss G, except not a gorgon.
"We should get back to North. I heard we were being stationed in Vermont." Bunnymund said, breaking the silence. I turned around to see Sandy nod as they both started to walk away.
What just happened?
"Ack..... jack..... JACK!"
"ITS A DREAM JACK!"
a dream.... a dream.
I quickly opened my eyes to see Rapunzel looking down at me.
"A dream?" I asked in a croaky voice.
"Yeah, demigods get very vivid ones. you were sweating so I'm guessing yours wasn't what you expected, huh?" she smiled sadly.
"Uh huh..." I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"Oh yeah, sleepy head." Merida spoke up. "We're here."
