Ω Eugene's POV Ω

"What the-" I muttered, opening my eyes again. I sat, still chained, to a pole watching Jack and the others with Apollo.

"He's not dead?" My captor with the dark cloak said, leaning forward in his seat as we all watched through the mist. "He looked right at him!"

"This isn't possible..." the female captor murmured, rubbing her temples. The bear grunted in agreement.

I, however, am excited. This is something new. So what if he is the son of Khione? He's so strong he can withstand a god's true form! ...Right?

Everyone started to argue except for the girl with the braided hair. She was looking intently at the vision of Jack and it seemed as if she actually cared for him. I hope not in a twisted way.

"Pssst..." I hissed to her, tugging on my chains. "Hey."

The girl looked at me impatiently. "What?"

"What's your name?"

"Are you flirting with me?"

"What? No, you just look compassionate towards Jack."

She gave me a warning look and glanced back at my captors nervously. But hesitantly she moves closer to me. "Im Elsa." She whispered. "truth is I'm not even working for these guys. im with you."

"Yeah right." I snorted and showed my hand cuffs. "If you were on my side, you would've helped me out already."

"This is my way to keep an eye on Jack so hush." She snapped, briefly looking over at the iris message screen. "I've even been talking to him."

"You're the chick who's been talking in his brain? Hah! Ok ok I totally believe you." I laughed and shook my head.

"You're stubborn." She scoffed.

"Well that seemed to get the ladies at camp." I smirked and she rolled her eyes.

When she looked away I dropped the happy face and looked at Rapunzel with concern. All I need is for her to be safe. And the only person I could count on is Jack.

"You got this..." I whispered, my voice coming out as a slight sob. "you got this, Jack."

Ω Jack's POV Ω

"Oh. My. Gods." I said looking at my hands. (A/N: into the woods reference... kinda XD).

"H-how did you survive?!" Merida yelled clutching onto my shoulders.

"I don't know at all. It just happened." I said honestly and looked up, past Merida, to Apollo. "How?"

"Son of khione. You froze your eyes." He said cockily.

"WHAT?!" We all yelled, surprisingly not getting shushed from the two other people at the other side of the room who didn't look the least bit aware of what happened.

"HAH! You should've seen it."

"Wait wait wait. How is that possible?!" I shrieked, rubbing my eyes.

The God shrugged and gave a smug grin. "I don't know but it was creepy and awesome at the same time."

"W-Well whatever." Merida stuttered, grabbing my shoulder and pulling me back. "whatever he is doing, he'll do with all the others."

Apollo strummed on his lyre and nodded. "go on... but I thought that son of hades told you something."

A vision of Nico Di Angelo telling me about something Apollo had wanted to give me flashed within my eyes.

"What is it?" I asked curiously, taking a step forward.

"Anxious anxious anxious." he scolded and reached into his pocket, pulling out a yankees baseball cap. (which surprised me. first, how did it fit? And second, I was expecting something more magical.)

"A hat?" I looked down at it then up at hiccup, who had a gleam in his eyes as if he believed he saw it before.

Hesitantly I placed it on my head. Apollo grinned and winked at me. "make sure to return that to annabeth, huh?"

I looked down to see that my body disappeared. so I shrieked and pulled it off. "why can't you?"

"You'll need it."

"Wait... for what? Why are gods so confusing?" I snapped but he had already disappeared.

I shove the cap into Hiccups hands and leaned up against a bookshelf. "wow. I learn I can freeze my own eyes, life accomplishment achieved."

Rapunzel smiled and put her hands on her hips. "well I guess we have to get to location number two."

I gulp and rub my arms. "great. the murder orphanage."

I catch Merida frowning at me but I waved her off.

"Let's just get this over with." I say and we all walk out of the library, to my least favorite place on earth.
