Chapter 13: Explosive Flowers

Ω jack's POV Ω

"You know this kid?"

"When he was younger. We wiped his memory."

"Do you suppose he remembers us?"

"Not sure."

"Then why did you kidnap him?!"

"To save him."

Right then my eyes shot open, focusing on the four figures in front of me.

"You..." I growled, pointing at the man who stood in front of my feet. he had tattoos on his arms and forehead... Bunnymund.

"Hey kid." he said plainly.

"You... you didn't take me with you."

"You were way to young."

"Some people went to camp Halfblood way younger than that." I sneered, sitting up against a wall.

Bunny shrugged and looked away. "A son of Khione isn't welcomed anyway..."

My breathing hitched slightly and I looked away from them. "where are my friends?"

"We left them." said a rough, Russian voice from across the room. I strained my neck to see a large man with a very long white beard.

"I personally thought we could've taken them with us." said a girl from right next to me. she had brown hair, with a feather braided into it, the feather matched her multi colored eyes.

"Things would've been more complicated tooth." bunny argued.

The girl, tooth, rolled her eyes and looked at me. "They are fine."

"Why am I here?" I quickly asked, wanting it to get out of the way.

"To prove yourself." the big man said coming closer to me. "Jack Frost."

"How do you...?"

"Your real name? Don't be alarmed, I have close tabs with all the gods."

"Ok... wait, first off... prove myself? Wh-why do I need to prove myself?" I stutter.

"We don't trust your mother, jack... so we need to see if you are capable to trust. And if you succeed, I'll tell you where every item on your quest is hidden." he says seriously.

I frowned and hesitantly answered back, "But hiccup has-"

"-hiccup had heard from the enemy." he cracked a jolly smile. "Every location he has would lead you to death. that's why we grabbed you away."

"Then what about my friends?!" I yell, my shoulders tensing up.

"They aren't the ones being targeted, you are." Bunny cut in.

"Trust us... Jack..." Tooth said. "believe in us."

I looked down at the guardian staff, strung around my neck, gripping it tightly. slowly, I began to nod.

"Alright, follow me me Jack Frost." the big man ordered, offering his hand.

"You know my name, but what is yours?" I say, standing up without his help.

"North." he sighed, "my name is North."

Ω Hiccup's POV Ω

"JACK!!" Merida yelled frantically from a tree top. "STOP PLAYIN' WITH US!!"

"Merida..." I say, looking up at her from the base of the tree. "stop."

"We needed to protect him..." Rapunzel croaked.

"Hey, he's not dead or anything. We'll find him." I tried to assure. "The prophecy said nothing like this."

"Doesn't mean it won't happen." merida growled, jumping down from the tree.

"Use your tracking skills." I offered.

"His tracks disappeared, it looks exactly the way they were before..." merida said, pondering.

"These flowers sure are pretty..." Rapunzel narrowed her eyes and drew her sword. "stand back."

"Punzie, what are you even doing?" merida groaned.

"These aren't real." She said, ready to swing. "they are cursed... traps." rapunzel quickly swung her sword at the flower and it suddenly exploded, sending us skidding backwards.

When the smoke cleared, I could see rapunzel pointing into the forest. "traps for monsters and halfbloods. all we need to do is follow this path of fake flowers, and then we have Jack." she smirked.
