"So your telling me that you could do this this whole time but you choose not too?!" Julie yelled.
"Yes." I replied calmly.
"Why didn't you do it before?!" She yelled.
"I forget about a lot of the things I can do at times I mostly remember when I am fighting or something." I replied.
"So why did you decide to cast this now?" I pointed at the woods.
"We are near Tinter. Do you know anything about them and theses woods?" Julie and Mari shrugged.
"These woods is where either massive numbers of monsters live or extremely powerful ones. The people at Tinter are stronger than them." I sighed.
"Either way getting ambushed might prove to be bad and this house is strong enough to with stand multiple attacks from the people at Tinter." I added.
"Well then night." I started walking towards a nearby tree.
"What happened to dangerous and powerful monster?" Julie said.
I shrugged and climbed to the highest branch and lied down. I looked down at the house.
"It's fine." I told myself and looked up at the stars.
I began to sing a song, one my mother taught me, softly to myself. Once I finished I forced myself to sleep. I watched people get eaten alive, yelling out in terror as their bodies were slowly being slit open. They cried out for help but no one came. I desperately wanted to help them but my body would only phase through, all I could do was watch. Once again they looked, they reached out their hand and asked for help. I tried to grab their hand but I couldn't. I made my hand into a fist and pulled it back.
It's fine. I am used to this now, I told myself as I stared at the now lifeless body.
Please forgive me. I couldn't save you, I woke up with tears streaming down my face.
I wiped them away and waited for a bit on the branch. Everyone was up so I pretended to be asleep. They seemed to buy it, but knowing Nolan he knows I am lying. Once I decided I pretended long enough, I jumped down. Everyone finally came out of the house. I went up to the house and flicked it. The house came crashing down. The ground swallowed the boulders to its depths.
"Were you attacked?" Mari asked.
I shook my head as I lifted her on top of Storm. I got on Storm myself and grabbed his reigns. In that moment I sensed a massive presence heading towards us. I grabbed my gun and took the mag.
"What are you doing?" Mari asked.
I focused my magic into the ice on my hand until it turned black. This should be strong enough to handle this." I placed the ice into the mag and put it back into the gun. I pulled Mari's head towards me and pointed my gun into the woods. The ground began to shake slightly. I closed my eyes and pointed my gun towards the presence. I fired every single bullet. A trail of black ice followed the bullets and a black iceberg formed. There was some blood on the tip of it. I put my gun away and both the trail and iceberg disappeared.
"Well then." I let Mari go and tightened my glove.
"Sorry about that Mari we can get going now." Everyone just stared at me.
I ignored them and moved on ahead.
"Asher, Nolan said that the people of Tinter might attack us." I nodded.
"It would make sense they are normally attacked by monster." I looked at Julie.
"That's why they mostly train to protect themselves but you shouldn't worry you can handle at least one of them by yourself." I added.
