All I remember from my past is flowing down a calm river. From there, everything else before that is a blank. I was only an infant when it happened, then a man named George Keith and his wife Lina Keith found me and took me in. They named me Asher, since I was covered in ashes when they found me. Their actual child, Keandra Keith, was the same age as me when I was adopted. I was found when Keandra was born, so we have the same birthday.

They were kind and treated me as if I was actually their own child. When I was five, I fell down in a deep hole into a cave and met a Demon and an Angel. There were two different auras coming from them in a friendly way but both were fighting one another. The cave shook every time they traded blows. The cave was going to crumble if it were to keep going, and there was a bunch of animals above.

I ran at them and held one hand in front of both of them. Both disappeared and a symbol appeared on both my right and left hand. I became the first person to ever be able to form a contract with a Demon and an Angel that day. My parents were surprised when they saw my hands.

They told me that we were supposed to form a contracts with Angels only when we turned fourteen. They made me wear a glove on my left hand whenever I went to school or out in public, since people of Tippleton only formed contracts with Angels.

When Keandra and I turned thirteen both of our parents were killed. We moved in with Grayson, a friend of our father and an old teacher of mine, after that. He was the one that trained me ever since I formed my contracts and is the only other person alive, besides Keandra, who knows that I formed a contract with an Angel and a Demon. Grayson also trained Keandra with her Angel, with a little help from me.

Despite that we still went to an academy. The academy Keandra and I go to is split into two groups: Angel and Battle Angel. Angel is for the weaker Angel contractors; Battle Angel for the stronger Angel contractors. Keandra is in Battle Angel and ranked number one. As for me, I am in Angel and ranked lowest in the school.
