Skylark returned to his pup form then ran up to me and hid in my shirt. I put up scarf to cover my face. I looked at Mari.

"Hood." She nodded and lifted up her hood.

I covered the top of my head with my coat. We rushed back to where we were suppose to set up camp. Everyone else was already waiting. I immediately created a shelter, then we all went inside. Skylark came out.

"You can take off your hood now Mari." It started to rain heavily outside.

"We made it in time." Nolan sighed.

"Yeah." Julie nodded.

"Uh whats going on?" Mari asked.

"The Teary Eyed Moon." I answered.

"What's that?" Me and Nolan moved closer to the door.

"First off the rain outside isn't normal." Nolan reached his hand out and then screamed.

I pulled out my gun.

"I did not think you were going to that." I sighed as I summoned Cannenta.

"The rain is acidic." I said as I turned to Mari.

"Acid? Then will we be okay?" I nodded.

"The rain only affects two things. One is human skin as you just saw. The second is that it can revive dead monsters. It also rains all over the world." I yawned.

"Really?" Nolan's hand healed.

"The rain acts like normal rain against everything else." I stuck my hand out and nothing happened.

"Although it doesn't hurt me as much even without the glove for some reason." I mumbled.

"Once the acid goes through the glove for some strange reason it returns to water." I continued.

"So monsters can be revived from this acid?" I walked away from the door.

"Well not all monsters. Only certain monsters can be revived." I responded.

"The others stay dead." Julie suddenly clapped her hands and we all looked at her.

"We should start prepping the food." I nodded and got started.

I lit the area to see then washed my hands. I started preparing the rabbit meat first. Julie helped me with the vegetables. I washed my hands again and sighed. I served everyone then finished eating.

"I'll go and stand watch." I offered.

"No I'll do it. You should be the one to get some rest." Julie objected.

There was look of concern in her eyes.

"Why is she acting like this? I don't like to sleep." I told myself.

"No, it's fine I can handle it." Julie sighed.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yeah." Julie sat down and looked disappointed.

"Great." I sighed.

"Fine. You can keep watch if you want to and I'll go rest." Julie looked up and smiled.

She nodded and quickly ate her food.

"Oh I almost forgot." I turned to Mari, who was finished eating.

I took out the book from my pouch and gave it to her. She took the book out of my hands and immediately started reading it.

"She was always a person who loved to read a book she was interested in." A female voice said in my head.
