I looked at Mari, confused.

"What do you mean by fuse?" I asked.

"Combine, become one. I suppose to become one. I become Epiales." She answered.

"I know what it means, anyways does this mean the god is in the castle?" She shook her head.

"Okay then, why were there guards chasing you?" Mari shrugged.

"I don't know. When I escaped I wasn't at a castle. I went through multiple villages already but the guards there never chased me until yesterday." She explained.

"I am curious now about that myself, maybe I should ask." Mari shook her head.

"Won't you have to get into the castle for that?" I sighed.

"So you don't know?" Mari tilted her head.

I explained everything that I told Julie.

"That's a bit different from how she said it." Mari mumbled.

"Um if you don't mind but who is this other god that came with you?" I asked.

"Oizys in Greek. Miseria in Latin. She is the goddess of misery, anxiety, grief, and depression." I sighed.

"Maybe that's why you two become the god of nightmares." Mari still looked confused.

"You're the goddess of dreams right?" Mari nodded. "Well what causes nightmares at least here, is what Oizys the god of. Then again I don't know how gods work." Mari just stared at me with disappointment in her eyes.

"What?" I said, waving my hands in front of her face.

"It's nothing, don't mind me." She sighed.

"So then what exactly happens when you two fuse?" Mari eyes filled up with fear, she grabbed her shoulder and started peeling off her skin.

"No!" She screamed and continued saying words that I couldn't make out.

Once again I felt as someone took control of my body. I hugged her.

"It's okay. I am here." Those words came out of my mouth and it sounded different.

Mari stopped screaming and started crying.

"It's okay Mari."

I had control of my body again. I let go of Mari but she still held onto me, her arms shaking.

"I should ask Ezekiel if he knows Audrey." I told myself.

Mari eventually passed out. I picked her up and walked into the other room. I set her down onto the bed. I went over to everyone and told them everything is okay.

"She seems to trust you a lot." Nolan said as he lied down onto the bed.

I sat down on the edge of the other bed.

"I guess so, but it might be because I look like someone she knows from her world." I sighed.

"So there is a you from another world?" I shrugged.

"Hey do you think there might be someone who looks like me in another world?" He asked.

"Maybe but, one of you is enough for me." I chuckled.

"I can say the same for you buddy." He threw a pillow at me.

I caught it and threw it back at him. I heard snoring. I looked over at Nolan and he was already out.

"Did I knock him out with a pillow?!" I stared at my pillows.

"The power of the pillow." I mumbled.
