"i have some great news" dr miller seemed overly exited about. "first one i don't care about but the next one is fantastic" she clapped. "so every intern in this building is graduating high school early with all set diplomas and not to mention you will only have 2 years through medical school" she said.

"second , when you get back you will be residents which means you will teach the next set of interns , now i will be the new chief of resident" she clapped."questions?" she asked.

"when do we graduate early?" Kaitlyn asked. "next week , June 24th." she smiled. "what will happen after?" i asked. "you will go straight to any medical school of your choice , you will receive various scholarships i'm sure but the hospital will be helping with tuition as well" she said.

"my interns , lets go" she said and we followed her out the room into the hallway. "Willams do you want to scrub in on this trauma , a pole is stuck between this lady and man?" dr mills asked. "i'm sorry i'm not ready to go back into an O.R." she said. "yes you are , you are fine" she said. "i don't think you understand" Kaitlyn worried.

"i do. you're a strong person. you. are. ready." she said. "no ma'am i am not. i'm sorry but i'm not. you can't force me to go , i have suffered from PTSD these last months so give me some damn time .. ma'am" she says as she walked off.

"Ortez and O'Connell you with me the rest of you , go find yourself useful in the pit" she said. Kaitlyn's right , she drowned and had a gun point to her head while a life was in steak. i don't blame her.

KAITLYN POV

i ran to the back of the storage room and shut the door and began to cry. i just want some damn time to think , lately everything has been going fast since the shooting.

i saw dr mills come in and sit right next to me. "do you know why i assign you to this case?" she says while taking a breath. i raised my eyebrows for a answer. "because I KNEW you were strong enough to do it" she said.

"before everything happened it was like you lived in that O.R. excited for surgeries , excited to even see blood." she laughed. "don't ever let your brain tell you anything that's not true because thats what a brain does it makes you think these things. see i know you're physically ready." she said.

"but the question is are you mentally ready? are you up for the challenge?" she said. "and Willams?" she said standing in the door frame. "you're ready, you may not want to hear it from me but you are" dr miller said and closed the door.

GEORGIA POV

now it's time for the trauma case with dr mills "page every single resident and attending's , and my interns. " dr mills said. they unloaded the truck before everyone came out.

"two victim's in a bus crash , Mary gray 25 female with severe injuries in her abdomen and crushed ribs. Sats are low and she's responsive. and Micheal Edwards male , 39 with also server injuries Sats are off the roof and responsive" the paramedics unloaded the victims.

"h-help" Mary panted. "ma'am we are you're doctors were going to make sure you're fine" Owen said. "do you guys know each other?" Judy asked. "no , not at all. we were just sitting on the- one the bus and we crashed out of nowhere and i woke up with a pole inside of me" Micheal said.

"book an O.R." dr Adams told Jermey. "we went into the trauma room and took a look at them. "follow the light" i said and they dragged their eyes following my light. "eyesights clear" i said.

"hey Mary is it" Micheal said. "yeah hey you hanging in there" Mary said. "yeah , we were talking about babies are so adorable one minute and then a crash" she joked and he laughed.
