"Kaitlyn!" i ran down the hallway. "i'm not clipping aneurysms anymore" i clapped. "what?" she asked. "i have a rotation-plasty when we turn a ankle into a knee i've been working three months to have this surgery , i took some time" i said excitedly. "what can i get in" she jumped.

"i'd love to have you in but you have to ask Dr lewis because he's my attending today" i cheered. "okay that surgery takes like what 19 hours?" she smiled. "what are you two doing" Owen walked up. "guess who may be getting on a rotation-plasty" Kaitlyn cheered.

"isn't that when-" she cut Owen off. "yes! i've read it in books but i've never actually seen it in person" Kaitlyn smiled. "lucky" he scoffed. "shut it cry baby" Kaitlyn said."Dr lewis , Dr lewis" Kaitlyn ran up to him trying to get his attention.

OWEN POV

"Autumn , female ,  4 months in foster care. we have to perform an Laparoscopy where we have to go inside of her abdomen and her pelvis with large incisions in the skin. she has a damaged organ inside her abdomen that we can replace" i introduced our patient.

"good job" dr White said. a foster care worker was also standing by her side. "can we take a look?" Dr white asked. "sure" she smiled. "billie" dr white insisted her going up there. she picked her up and smiled at her she took billie's lamplight and put it in her mouth smiling at billie.

"hey" she smiled at the baby. "okay so we'd have to go in right .. here" i directed to dr white. "good job" dr white smiled. "she can keep that lamp light" billie smiled. she smiled as the baby sucked her lamp light. she's getting soft i've never seen her soft.

"okay we'll come back and prep Autumn here for surgery" Dr white said as billie was making noises playing with her. "that'll be in an hour , so theres a cafeteria down stairs no solid food" Dr white smiled as we all walked out.

she walked up to the nurses station and handed Autumn chart to the nurse. "thank you doctor" the nurse smiled. "so not pregnant" Georgia joined us. "you took the test?" me and billie said in unison. "yeah" she said.

"i think i want to foster Autumn" billie grinned. "what?" i asked. "who's autumn?" Georgia asked. "she's a 4 month old baby who we have to do a laparoscopy on" billie explained. "come here look" she said pulling Georgia inside her room since the worker wasn't there.

we went inside her room and she smiled in the sight of billie. "hi" billie said to her and picked her up. and Georgia smiled at billie "she's perfect" billie smiled as she hugged her in her arms as they both smiled.

i walked out the room and saw Kaitlyn walking weirdly. "whats wrong with you" i asked. "go away" she said. "is that a diaper- you're wearing a diaper?!" i said laughing. "yes and it's because i have a 19 hour surgery" she said. "why didn't i think of that" i groaned.

JORDAN POV

"mom please go back to san Francisco were great here" i begged her. "sure you are" she scoffed. "Amara Yale?" Ian smiled as he seen my mother for the second time. "Jordan i'm going to the cafeteria and the reason i came here is because i've been told about a patient that needs my help" she said and walked away.

"pretty boy!" an attending , Dr Carlson said from down the hall. "that's not my name" i said. "whatever , wanna scrub in on the appendectomy?" she asked.

"sure" i said. "i have to go check on this patient first" i said. "okay , i'll page you" she said and left. "hey" Lily walked up. "hey" i smiled. "so i umm met .. a guy" she said and i frowned my eyebrows. "i mean i met a guy in the bar. and he's, oh he's great. he's a paramedic and-" i cut her off.
