"—- what ever just get me her chart" i sassed to billie. "you got it , DOCTOR ORTEZ" billie returned the energy. i walked into the front desk and handed the nurses another chart and look to my right and someone caught my eye , nana.

"nana?" i asked. "Georgia" she said and got up and hugged me. "what are you doing here?" i asked. "just getting a check - up" she said not looking at me with her smoked out cigarette in her hand.

billie handed me her chart and she looked at billie and hugged her. "hello" she said. "i want you to be my doctor , Georgia can't be my doctor since were related" she said. "sure what do you need" she asked.
"a check-up" she said not looking her straight in the eye either. she only does that when she's lying.

"okay follow me this way" she smiled and the smile disappeared when she looked at me again. "hey , wanna scrub in on this inoperable tumor" Kaitlyn walked up in excitement. "sure , look at you going back to the O.R. like you own the bitch" i admired. "yep , it's at 6:30 see you then" she walked away.

BILLIE POV

"—- you look great , healthy. most people you age can't even walk" i said taking off my gloves. she glared at me because of her age "in a good way" i smiled.

" just one more thing dear , i need you to check out this" she pulled down the flap of her shirt and appeared a large rash. "oh no nana" i sighed. "is it breast cancer , i use to be a doctor back then so i know when i know" she said.

"it's breast cancer" i confirmed. "it can be treated though all i have to do is just-" she cut me off. "i don't want treatment" she said. "nana you can still have more years , don't you want that" i asked.

"i think it's time for me to kick the bucket , my family have grown into this .. tree strong strong tree with many leaves and a lifetime" she admired. "what does Georgia think ?" i asked and she looked at me shaking her head.

"she doesn't know" she said. "she doesn't know- you have to tell her" i said confused. "i will but not now , nobody knows accept for me and you you nobody is going to know accept for me and you because you are MY doctor and isn't your job" she made sure.

"fine" i said."how long am i looking at?" she asked. "a week , i won't even be here to see her go to med school cause she's off by next week , i'll tell her today"i sighed and she looked down sadly. "so lets take a look at the rash" i said and put my gloves back on to take her mind off of it.

NATALIE POV

"Judy we've been arguing for over a month okay just give it a rest already" i said. "you saw me into a bathroom with a girl that doesn't EVEN mean that i was cheating , i help her because i am a doctor and thats what i do" she said.

"an intern, you're an intern" i corrected. "okay just because you decided for it to be cheating doesn't mean-" i cut her off. "i saw you Judy" i said. "what did you see? huh?" she asked me and my mind went blank and i didn't see anything.

"you have to stop assuming and you have to trust me and believe that i love you and i will never ever cheat on you" she said. "sorry i just thought-" she cut me off. "i cheated on you?" she chuckled "i love you , but you not trusting me is unacceptable and i think i deserve more than that. so we are- were done" she shook her head.

"just like that? that easy you give up just like that?" i asked. "there were countless arguments don't go there with me" she wiped the tear off her cheek. "were gonna argue and fight thats what people in relationships do" i said. "i- i'm leaving" she said.
