"sweetie i have breast cancer" nana announced to my family. "what?" Georgia gasped as the whole room filled with confusion. "i have a couple of days left and i-" i cut her off. "so get the damn treatment" i said. "Georgia" my dad said to calm me down. "i lost mom and i'm not loosing you too" i said. "i've lived my life now it's time for you to live yours , don't worry about me ,i'm fine" she patted my hand slowly.

look at her , having short breaths. connected to tubes and machines. "you told me you was going to get a check up" i said. "i lied , but i wanted for billie to make sure i had the cancer" she said. "you were a doctor once you let it get this bad?" i said.

"Georgia you should probably-" i cut billie off. "no , i would like to speak to you outside please" i told billie. "don't be gone for too long" dad said. "yes"i pulled billie out the room but they could hear us through the door.

"not here" i pulled her into the attending's lounge even though we aren't attending's i sure as hell don't care right now. "you knew ? all this time and i thought my nana came here to seduce the doctors again" i crossed my arms.

"don't put this all on me , i'm her doctor she told me not to tell you so i didn't it wasn't my place" she said. "but she's my nana , MINE and you're my girlfriend we don't keep secrets" i said. "okay well i'm going to Harvard" she said.

"we're making this about schools again? my grandmother's dying" i said. "after i do my medical school i'm going to a hospital in new York" she continued. "no , i'm not coming i said this the first time and if you go there were gonna be apart and you know i hate long distance" i barked.

"of course you make this about you" she chuckled. "this is not about me this is about us and nana and why you lied to me and why you're going to schools that's apart from where we are" i said. "come with me" she pleaded.

"i'm not leaving" i shook my head. "i can't leave without you" she said. "geez why are you putting me in this position Georgia? i gave up everything for you!" she slammed her hand on the table. "there it is , everything. you gave up everything. that was everything to you?" i said and her face changed into only complete shock.

"what if i do decide to go huh? what does that leave us" she angrily asked. "you wanna go ? leave NOW" i said. "Georgia" she sighed. "no i mean it GO NOW" i shouted and threw my promise ring at her.

"i have to go check on nana , thanks for making my day harder" she left the room. i sighed and put my hands on my face. could this day go any worser. "Georgia" Kaitlyn bussed in. " i heard about nana , i'm so sorry" she held my hand.

"take my mind off of something, please" i said. "okay Jermey agreed to go to the same school as me and Georgia" she smiled. "i'm happy, it's been a while but i'm really really happy and Jeremy just makes me happy and i love him and it's squeezing me to life , he's giving me life" she admired.

"is this happiness? or love is this literally it because i can feel it" she smiled with a tear rolling down her cheek. "i have everything i've ever wanted and omg Stanford even knows my name" she sniffed in exaggerating. "i'm happy you're happy , but i just don't know how it feels" i said beginning to cry.

"aw come here" she held me. "one day" she kissed the top of my head. "you're gonna come to me and you're gonna be so happy with everything and everyone and you won't need me to hold you anymore because you won't need comforting because you will be happy i can guarantee it. don't let her wants eclipses from you needs. you are extraordinary" she smiled.

BILLIE POV

"— she's right , i can't force her to move out of her home state. she grew up here and work here and it's just wrong. you know what none of this matters i don't even matter right now. the key is Georgia gets what Georgia is wants" i gave up rambling to Owen.
