The Dangerous Game of Luigi, Mr.L, & Dimentio

"So... You set up a trap for Mr.L, and he almost fell for it, but then Mario came in and made things about 15 times worse?" Daisy questioned.

Mario nodded meekly. Mario, Luigi, and Daisy were back at Luigi's place trying to come up with their next move.

"Yup, pretty much," Luigi stated.

Daisy held back some snickers and tried to compose herself.

"So... Mr.L is after the Dark Prognosticus because his transformations have become unstable, so he could just change over to this other guy whenever," Daisy said.

"Yeah," Mario confirmed.

"So what's your new plan then?" Daisy asked, "Because, I don't think Mr.L will fall for the same thing twice."

"Exactly, so we're going to NOT set up a trap," Luigi replied.

Daisy and Mario blinked in confusion.

"Then what did you bring us here for?" Mario asked.

"Because we're going to trap him without a trap," Luigi stated.

Mario and Daisy became even more perplexed.

"Okay, please explain before I get a headache trying to figure out myself," Daisy said, rubbing her temples.

"I'm going to have one of you go get a vial of the serum used to turn to Mr.L and back because the serum is pretty much a mental switch in the transformations, then the other person stays with me for phase one of the plan!" Luigi exclaimed, "Phase one, leave the Dark Prognosticus unguarded, so Mr.L thinks he can get it no problem. Phase two, make sure that Mr.L is unable to leave the area. Then phase THREE! The one person comes back with the serum and sticks Mr.L with it so he changes back to his new alter-ego temporarily. We take both of them in and convince them to stop."

Mario let out a sigh.

"I still don't think that you would be able to reason with him, but I agreed to play by your rules, so what do you want me to do?" Mario asked.

"I'm going to have YOU stay with me when we try to keep Mr.L here!" Luigi exclaimed.

Daisy stepped forward.

"And what about me?" Daisy questioned.

Luigi passed her a piece of paper with an address on it.

"Go to this place and get a Floro Shroom. Mash it up there and then put the liquid in this." Luigi said, passing her a syringe, "You might have to think fast. Be prepared to stick this in Mr.L's arm or leg or something."

Daisy smirked.

"First I got to break his nose, AND I get to stab him with a needle?" Daisy questioned, "Nice."

Luigi chuckled.

"You might want to get going. The place is on the far side of Toad Town." Luigi said.

Daisy nodded again and then went out the door while Luigi waved her goodbye. Mario went up to Luigi. 

"So what do I do with this?" Mario asked, holding out the Dark Prognosticus.

Luigi took it from him and looked it over.

"Well, I need to have it just lying around. So I guess I'll just go throw it onto my bed." Luigi chuckled.

Mario sighed with a small chuckle.

"I guess I'll wait for you in the living room," Mario said.

Mario and Luigi went off in different directions. Luigi reached his room and closed the door behind him, locking it. He tossed the book onto his bed and frantically dialed into his phone.
