THIS IS US

Part 36

"Kat! Kat! Kat" Someone was repeatedly calling my name and shaking my shoulders. I groaned and turned away from the touch. 

"Fine, then stay here and fly back home, I am sure your family will be happy to see you." I heard the voice again.

Home? Fly? Family? Scotland? Parents?  London?One Direction?... 

What?

I opened my eyes swiftly only to see Rachel's and Louis's face right in front of my face. Taken by surprise I jump back into the seat and hit my head on the window. I groaned inwardly and rubbed my head. I hear laughter around me.

"What?" I asked, slightly irritated. I have been barely able to sleep for 2 hours, throughout the day. We were on a plane... Oh! we were flying back to London. 

"See, I told you that would wake her up." Rachel snickers, looking at Louis who chuckles and places his hand on mine and I immediately pull away. He gives me a confused look but lets it go. 

"Good morning sleeping beauty, we have reached," Louis says with a smirk. I look around to see the whole team, getting their belonging and departing the plane. 

I nodded and rubbed my face as I unbuckled and stood up from the seat. Louis helped me get my bags from the top, knowing it would be difficult for me to reach them. His fingers brushed mine and ignored it again. 

I have been having the least of contact with Louis after that meeting with Jeff and Paul. I didn't know what to do and also didn't want him to get him in trouble. I knew he was confused but they have their last show coming up and he didn't need this right now. I would tell him at the right time. 

We have a busy day today, once we reach home. We will directly meet each other in the Stadium they are performing today early for a rehearsal. Zayn arrived in London before us and he would meet us for the pre-rehearsals that would be in their studio. 

The song list is set and how and when Zayn would arrive would be planned. I won't be joining at the studio and not even during the rehearsals, since I am not officially a part of the One Direction crew. 

But I already have had ideas passed across to Jeff and Paul. The boys don't know yet that I left the crew because they have been busy with interviews and photoshoots and preparing for the final show. 

"So, you are going home?" I heard Niall's voice brought me out of my thoughts. I notice him walking next to me and I smile and nod.

 "Not sure. What about you?" I asked.

"We are planning to crash at Liam's place, as it's near the studio." He replies and Liam appears on my other side.

"You should join, other girls are already in." Liam offered and Niall agrees.

"I would love to but I think I am meeting up with Jeff and the others for the concert today and then I have to meet Grace and the other children," I replied with a smile.

"Oh yes, Laura will be with us tonight right?" Harry appeared from behind. 

"Looking forward to meeting her tonight. We can show her around before the gig tonight." Louis says coming up next Niall. We all had our bags with us as we walked towards the booth we were supposed to wait in for Jeff and Paul. 

I tensed slightly at what Louis said but answered him.

"Umm, I will be with the audience today, will bring her backstage after the show, so she can also meet Zayn. I am pretty sure she is going to be extremely happy today." I said meeting Louis's eyes. All four of them nod in understanding.
