THIS IS US

Part 15

"Your hand fits in mine like its made just for me..." Liam starts singing in his soft voice with Niall playing the tune on his guitar. Everyone who works and lives here comes out to the garden and surrounds the boys as they sing. Rachel and I love this song and hearing it live was a beautiful feeling. We looked at each other with a soft smile on our face and turned to the boys again. Their voices are deeper and more mature. 

"They sound amazing," Rachel whispered to me. 

"I know right," I whispered back focusing on Louis's solo and how beautiful everyone sounded. They looked a little surprised by how well they sounded together. I was captivated at the fact that these boys harmonized with each other so well even after so many years where their voices have changed their so much and without any rehearsals, they are singing. 

" And all your little things." They all ended the songs in perfect harmony. Everyone started clapping and cheering including all the adults. They looked around at all of us and smiled. 

"Thank you so much," Harry says joining his hands.

"Thank you." Louis, Niall and Liam said together. 

"This was our first performance as a band together since we went for hiatus," Liam said looking at the boys and then at me and Rachel. 

" And we wouldn't have it any other way," Harry added and the boys nodded in agreement.

We spent another few hours with the children and we even showed the dance that Grace and I choreographed a long time back. The thing is we had done one choreography on 'Get Low' by Liam Payne and 'baby shark remix' and this is something that also includes some signature steps of ours, which was fun to show and we even made the boys dance to it. It was fun, watching the boys dance, I mean try-except Liam cause he sure can dance. 

We were planning to leave, so I said my goodbyes to the children at the same time remembering to ask them to not tell anyone that One Direction was here to visit them, just to wait for 2 days by when the video comes out. Rachel and I even talked to the staff about how important it was to not mention that One Direction presence here, through any form of social media even if the account was private. 
We left the place around 5 in the evening straight to Niall's place, we decided to go straight to our apartment and spend some time there, ordering in Chinese for dinner. This was the first time the boys were coming to our apartment when we reached that's when Rachel and I remembered how much of a mess it was, even though Rachel cleans most of it but lately we have been so busy that we frequently forget to clean or are too tired to. We looked at each other when we reached and they were right behind us. 

"Um before we go in, a warning. The house is a mess." I warned them turning around to face them. 

"Mess? We know all about the mess. We are the messiest here, especially Mr.Tomlinson." Liam says, patting Louis's shoulder, who flips him off with his middle finger. 

"Alright then, let's go in," Rachel says unlocking the door and we all step in. Rachel places the key in the usual place and excuses herself to go to her room to freshen up.

I noticed Louis looking around the house with a soft smile on his face so I walked up to him,

"It's not as huge as your house," I said as I stood next to him.

"It's lovely." He said softly looking down at me. 

"It feels like home. That's what matters." I shrugged and he nodded with a smile.

I asked them to make themselves comfortable as I went to my room to change as well.

We spent the rest of the evening with really tasty Chinese food and wine and a movie which I think none of us paid attention to because we were too busy talking to each other. They planned to leave around 11 at night.
