Part 37

"We are going backstage?" Laura screamed in my ear, once we told her that Grace and she are invited backstage. I winced softly and nodded. 

"Fuck, I have always wanted to see them backstage..." Grace says and I hit her arm for swearing in front of Laura. Laura rolls her eyes at that. 

"She always swears when she is with me, nothing new." Laura comments and I facepalm myself. I can't do anything about these two. 

All of us had so much fun today. Once the audience believed that Zayn was going to be singing throughout the show, that's when the show took a new turn. It was like all of us time travelled back to 2010-2014. Seeing them sing together, run around and fall on stage. All five of them were dancing around like idiots, making goofy faces, teasing the fans... to be able to see this in front of us was like a dream come true for all of us. None of us could stop the tears running down our cheeks. All of their voices sounded so angelic together, even after all of these years. 

They weren't just singing, they were living their best memories of their life with each other... Each song, every lyric, every tune was hitting them and you could see the story behind every song in their eyes. 

They close their eyes when they hit a note, it's not just because they feel the tune, it's because everything about the song and its lyrics were touching their heart. The smiles on their faces were showing how much they are grateful for this. Their every move on the stage towards each other show how much they missed each other and it seemed so natural...like they were right at home. 

From Zayn reenacting Veronica Malik from Best Song Ever to them acting like they were in the 'kiss you' video, to water fights, to clumsy moments, to fan projects, to a failed pyramid, to reminiscing old days together with the band, to Zayn officially announcing that every 23rd July there will be a performance with all five of them together to keep the essence of the Anniversary, with this the concert came to end with people going back with wide smiles and a beautiful experience...

The girls and I had so much fun.... one of the best concerts of One Direction.

Then we took Grace and Laura backstage to meet the boys and the crew. They both were losing their minds from the concert and the fact that they will be able to meet Zayn and Gigi by the way. 

Rachel told me that Gigi was also here with Zayn, but wanted to watch the show from backstage. I was excited to meet Gigi, she is amazing. I am her biggest admirer and she is truly amazing...

Once we were near them, we saw the boys standing together, completely wet from their water fights. They had small towels in their hands as they attempted to dry their hair. Gigi was standing next to Zayn, helping him. They were talking amongst themselves with huge smiles on their faces.

"Oh My God, you lads killed it today. That was the best One Direction from all these 10 years..." Lou shouted, grabbing their attention. Louis's eyes fell on me and he winked at me, with a smile. Laura was next to me, gathering her courage to talk to Zayn. Grace was just staring at Zayn, who was talking to Lottie. 

Harry noticed Laura next to me and walked towards us with a goofy smile. He bent down, picking up Laura in his arms and spun her around. She squealed and held onto him as her life depended on it. The others joined him and were goofing around with her. I noticed Grace meeting Zayn and Gigi, her whole face was red. I went up to them and met Gigi for the first time. 

"Kat right?" She asked pulling me in for a hug. I smiled and hugged her back. 

"It's so nice to finally meet you.." She said with an excited smile. She is so naturally gorgeous. 

"I have been so excited to meet you.." We got along so well after that. She is a nice person, who is fun-loving and very down to Earth. 

All of us spent some time together, including Jeff, Paula and Scott. Soon, Laura was getting tired so Grace and she had to leave.
