THIS IS US

Part 6

" So do you have any idea about where we are going ?" Liam asked and I looked at him through the rear view mirror and gave him a smile. 

"Yup. Okay so , one day I was just searching for just places that I could go for long road trips and I found some , so basically there is this very small town of probably 1200 people but it's like a hidden gem of UK . Since it's very small, you won't be recognised and plus it's very beautiful and relaxing . So , I hope you guys like it but if you don't I have some other options also but we will see , because I think you will fall in love with the place . " I explained and they nodded giving me a smile . I internally let out a relieved sigh , I was kind of scared that they won't like it . 

" How far is it ?" Louis asks .

" It's 5 hours from London. So, I think we will reach there around 10 or 11 . " I replied .

" This way we can also get more than half a day to spend it there . This place is called Alfriston by the way and I know you are wondering where we will be staying . So , basically these small towns always have guest houses for tourists , so we will be staying there . " I informed them .

"Like I said , if you guys don't like it , we can always explore . " I added . 

" No , I am sure it will be beautiful , we will check it out , it's all about not planning right?" Harry says as he runs a hand through his hair . I smile and nod . We decided to play music , so Louis connects his phone to the car and plays songs from his playlist . 

They end up singing random songs , for example if a song that is being played to which they don't know the lyrics to , they will belt out random lyrics and sing along . Each of them making their own additions to this little game , I guess this is like a musicians thing. I laugh at the stupid lyrics and hum along with the tune . They make this feel so comfortable , like there isn't any kind of awkwardness around . Makes this whole trip or even the time working with them easier . 

" Katherine , which is your favourite song from each of our solo albums ?" Liam asked once the 'let's create new and non-sensible lyrics ' game finally stopped . 

"Um , that's hard , I have so many . But I guess from Fine line, it's Sweet creature , Watermelon Sugar , Two ghosts and Fine line . I liked Kiwi too but I am sorry the video kind of pissed me off . " I said being honest .

"Why?" Harry asked looking genuinely worried . 

"I mean , there were cupcakes and donuts being thrown around. Those things are precious , don't deserve to be thrown at each at other , you could have shared it with the kids . " I looked at him through the mirror . He laughed and shook his head . 

" Well I am sorry . It was the director's idea." He said not sorry at all . I rolled my eyes , I love donuts and I hate it when the donuts are being wasted , I think my whole opinion about the song kind of changed because of that . Niall , Liam and Louis were laughing but Niall agreed with me and we ganged up on Harry , arguing about how food should never be wasted and how donuts are cupcakes are very precious , while Liam and Louis giving each other looks and laughing at us.  

"Fine , Jesus calm down both of you . " Harry gave up at last , making Niall and I smirk . Niall squeezed my shoulder at the small win . 

"Anyway what about the other's albums ." Liam urged me to continue , I glared at him , I didn't want to choose any song from their album because they were all amazing and also because I may and may not heard all their songs , like 2 or 3 total from their albums . He ignored me . 

"Okay um from Walls , I would my favourite one is definitely walls , then Defenceless I don't why but I love that song and then Always You . " I said and Louis nodded smiling .
