THIS IS US

Part 18

"Ready girls?" Jeffery asked as we reached the departure hall, walking over to the whole team. We were all leaving for LA, these past two days were spent in planning everything for the promos and the shows they have in LA. 

Nearing the boys, I see Louis wearing a red Nike sports T-shirts with tracks underneath, Niall wore a grey sweatshirt with black jeans underneath, Liam wore black hoodie-wearing black jeans too, Harry was in a purplish- maroon shirt and black jeans. They looked comfortable and relaxed setting on the chairs chatting with each other. We approached them and greeted through a hug and took a seat next to them placing our carry-on bags next to theirs with Passports in hand. 

"It's your first time in the States ?" Niall asks me and I shake my head remembering the time I was in New York for a Mental Health Programme representing my company, that was the only time I was in America, Rachel and I planned to meet there because she was also in New York at that time working for a show.

"No, I have been to New York once," I replied and they nodded.

"But I am so excited to be in LA, I keep hearing things from me and I finally get the opportunity to go there," I add.

"LA is beautiful but busy in its way," Harry says and they tell me about the places we could go to.

"Hey, you are here." I hear Scott's voice from behind me as I turn around to greet him.

"We are," Rachel answers hugging him after me.

"Excited?" He asks.

I take a deep breath and smile widely, " Very." I reply.

Rachel scoffs and " That's an understatement, she has been eating my head off with her constantly telling me about how much she is excited and where all she wants to go." Everyone laughs and I roll my eyes.

"I think we were worse when we first went to LA," Niall says looking at the others and they laugh remembering the old days. 

"So, where do you want to go first?" Louis asks taking a seat on one of the chairs and we all follow. 

"Pretty obvious and cliche but I want to go to Hollywood and then go to  Venice Beach, but you all have been there many times and have a house there so I am going to ask you to surprise me." I shrugged and then they nodded.

"Yup, you are going to have 5 tour guides," Liam informed, pointing to all four of them and Rachel.

"So, Is your  boyfriend excited that you are going to be in LA?" Harry asked Rachel. I look at her and she genuinely smiles. Ethan and she talked a day after the party and they resolved some things out but I noticed that they both were trying to convince themselves about resolving some of the things and I think even Rachel knew and I hope when they are physically there with each other, things sort out.

"No, he doesn't know that I am going to be there, I am planning to surprise him." She replies.

"That's nice, I am sure he will love it." Harry smiled giving her a soft smile playing with the rings on his fingers. 

"Well, he better." Rachel joked but knowing her I don't she is joking, she is a little nervous about LA but won't admit it yet.

Jeff informed that the boarding has started so, we should get going, following his instructions we get ready to board the plane and I side by side with Scott as we continue talking. We enter the cool and calm environment of this plane and search for our seats and I notice that I am sitting with Scott and we laugh.

"Yayy." We say at the same time and burst into laughter. I look back and notice that Rachel is sitting with Harry and Lou 2 seats behind us and right behind us were Louis and Liam's seats.
