"Where's Michael?" My mother asked.
"Obviously somewhere he doesn't want you to know." I snapped.
"That is no way to talk to your mother!" The man besides her stated.
"You ran your son off in the first place so don't go blaming me for your shit." I snatched the keys out of Hannahs mom's hand. "I'm leaving and don't bother stopping me."
"Victoria Maylet Kayler!" My mother screamed.
"No, fuck off." I screamed at my mother and got into my car.
By the time I got in the car, I spotted the person who had always ruined things for me and apparently my little outburst had been seen by non-other than the infamous Calum Hood. He opened my passengers door and sat in the front seat.
"Can I help you?" I said in a sarcasstic voice, all I wanted was to go home and lock myself in my room.
"Yeah, first you could loose the attitude and second, you can tell me whats wrong." He said in a serious voice.
"Why do you even care?" I sighed quietly.
"Because Michael called me and told me he wanted me to come and make sure you were okay. He told me what happened, but we are still no where even to what happened when I was little." Calum said.
"Get out." I tried saying in the most calm voice but came out a bit harsher than I expected.
"Huh?" He questioned looking equally concerned.
"You bring up past like yours was the only that was bad. News flash you're not the only one who has had a rough past. Don't say things you know nothing about." I screamed still trying to make the car move but having no luck.
"Okay then tell me, tell me everything about you." He turned to face me.
"I saw my dads dead body after my brother beat him to death because he was a drunken slob and beat my mom, all he did was slap her around and take our money. My mom was in and out of the hospital for 6 years because she would get so high she couldn't walk. The only father figure I've had in my life was Adam and even then he was always working to support him and I. My mom finally got sense knocked in when one night she got so drunk and tried to drive her car to his grave. She was in a coma for 8 months. And then she got it together and started working as a lawyer and she hasn't been home since. Yeah I have a big house, but it's a big house that I don't have anyone to share with. You really think that I'm happy or strong? Then my friend you need to take a step back because I will never be happy. No ones ever stayed in my life so I don't know why you're even trying." I said finally leaving the restaurant and going to the closest beach.
"What are you doing?" He said changing the topic.
"Going for a swim, you can call Hailey or someone and get a ride. I couldn't care less what you do." I said arriving at the beach.
"I guess I can call Lu-"
"Don't you dare mention him." I said getting out and taking my shirt and pants off.
I started running and eventually dove into the ocean as I sat underwater I felt a tug at my leg.
"You didn't think I would let you go in here alone, did you?" Calum said before pressing his warm lips against mine, "you didn't think I would let you leave me, did you." He said breathlessly against my lips.
