"You're early." I said climbing into Adam's car.

"And you're beautiful." He kissed my on the cheek before presuming to drive.

"I have one thing to ask.. If you see Calum please don't tell him you were with me, I don't want you involved in this." Adam sounded serious.

"Wow, you are the only one that cares enough to not want me to get involved in this." I said sarcastically. "I can take care of myself."

"Look, I don't want you to be put in the position where you have to take care of yourself." Wow, he was actually for real about this.

"Alright, I guess." He immediately out his hand in mine.

"Hey, I just want you to be safe. I care, you know." His eyes were a beautiful collage of golden, blue, and green and I don't thing eyes have ever turned me on so much.

"I know, so tell me. Do like protecting a badass cheerleader?" I laughed and it felt good to go from a serious topic to a laughing situation.

"So you're one of those girls." He said rolling his eyes but smiling.

"You know it, I'm fucking awesome." At this point I was laughing so hard I was crying.

"So apparently you guys are getting a new student and she's pretty famous." He said changing the topic.

"Really, who?" I was curious now.

"I think her name is Maddie. I don't really know much, I just over heard it yesterday," I was getting a little suspicious now. " But anyways here we are."

"Um okay, bye." I said getting out of the car and slamming the door.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He rolled down the window to ask as if he didn't know.

"Just going to class for the best time of my life." I said as sarcastically as possible.

He said something after that but I was so far away I couldn't hear. When I got inside I felt an all too familiar arm wrapped around mine.

"What the fuck were you doing with him?" Calum said.

"It's none of your business, have fun fucking Vanessa." I whipped my arm back and he stumbled back at the mention of her name.

"What?" He just stood there like a lost puppy and I could feel the amount of heat from inside his body.

"Nothing, I have to go." I said walking to class before the loud speaker cut it.

"--will Victoria Kayler please come to the front office.--"

Great. Just what I need, to spend my morning in the office. But once I got there I couldn't be more interested.

"Hello Victo-"

"Please, call me Tori." I tried to say politely but came out bitchier than ever.

"Don't get an attitude but you will be assisting Ms. Ziegler to all of her classes." The attendance lady spoke.

"What's her schedule?" I sighed knowing I wouldn't have the energy to fight this battle.

"Same as yours." The new girl smiled and I could already tell I didn't like her.

"We'll lets go, don't want to be late on your first day." I faked a smile and lead the way.
