The Move

Chapter 7

We arrived at a mall and Luke said it was his favorite place to go when he just needed to be alone. We stopped at a little restaurant that looked like it was built for Paris Hilton. There were fancy dishes and fancy waiters and everything.

"I feel like this is were Ted Mosby would take his kids and explain how he took there mother on a first date here." I looked at he and he was staring at me laughing. "What?"

"Did you just really talk about How I Met Your Mother?" He said laughing so hard he almost started crying.

"Yes, and judging by the fact you knew what show I was talking about, you have watched it." He instantly stopped laughing and looked at me. "Gotcha." I said laughing and running into the restaurant.

The waiter immediately sat us down when he saw Luke. They had everything from lobster to burgers. The waiter came and asked us what we wanted to drink and we both said chocolate milk at the same time. We were laughing about it for 10 minutes when the waiter who's name tag said Jake asked up what we wanted to eat, I said mozzarella sticks and Luke order hash browns.

"So what you're telling me is you're a little kid at heart." I said smiling.

"Basically, I'm the adorable one out of the band." Luke said throwing his straw at me.

"I mean I don't know I'm pretty sure that Ashton kid is." I said but couldn't hold my laughter in as his smile faded from his face. "No I'm just kidding Luke." I said smiling and grabbing a hold of his hand, which he immediately started smiling again.

The waiter returned with our food and we raced to see who could eat our food first and I obviously won. After that we talked a little bit and he then said he was going to the bathroom and I knew what he was actually doing.

"Hey Luke," I said when he got up, "Next times on me."

He smiled and walked to the front desk to pay for the meals.

"You ready to go?" Luke said.

"Yeah can we stop at the candy store first?" I asked and Luke of course said yes.

When we got there I ran straight for the Razzles. I mean candy that turns into gum, who doesn't love it? I paid for it and we were on our way to his car as he grabbed a hold of my hand and said, "Alright, time to take you to school."

I smiled at him and we held hands when we wear in the car and the whole way to school we talked about our future. When we got there I kissed him on the cheek and he held the door open for me as I got out.

"Thank you, I had a lovely morning at the mall with you." I said hugging him and going to wait in the hall for school to start.

As I was walking I felt a strong grip on my arm and someone threw me against the wall.

"What the fuck are you doing with him." Calum said.

"Enjoying existence unlike right now." I retorted and tried leaving but Calum grabbed me and snapped me back against the wall.

"Oh my god, could you let go of me? I'm not one of your bimbos okay! I don't like you Calum and I would never want to!" I screamed as I pushed him away and started walking towards the hall.

"I'm Calum Hood, I can get whatever I want." He yelled after ,e and I started laughing.

I don't know how important he thinks he is, but he's not at all important to me.
