The Move

Chapter 1

It's my first day at school in Texas and I don't know anyone here. I'm honestly scared but I just have to get through today and then 5 more months. It should be okay.

It was 730 as I got in my car to go to school. As I got in the car I called Hannah.

"Hey Han, how's everything going there?" I said. It had been a month since I moved to Texas and I missed her so much.

"I'm staying home today. I don't want to see Dalton because he was talking to Amber all night and he read my texts but wouldn't reply. I think he likes her." She was clearly upset.

"Han, you and Dalton have been dating for like 3 years. Amber is dating Dallas. I honestly don't think he likes her." I said softly trying to calm her down.

"Is it bad that I think that then?" She said as she sniffled.

"Not at all Han, it means you're jealous and being jealous means you care."

"Okay I guess you're right." She said cheerily.

"I gotta go babes I'm at school. Love you." I said.

"Love you too Tor." She said as she hung up the phone.

I parked the car as the bell rang and I ran inside to get my schedule from the office. As soon as I opened the door I

ran into someone who was tall and had huge muscles and tattoos.

"Watch out freak!" He had a thick Australian accent and his voice was very deep.

"Dude, chill. I'm sorry." I said as I turned around to leave this conversation.

I started walking to the office when I felt a strong grip pull me back. I hit the wall hard as the boy with dark hair pinned me against the wall and angrily said, "I wasn't done. But if only it were different circumstances."

I pushed him off of me and went straight to the office.

As I got there a dark red head opened the door for me and said, "You must be the new girl that Calum threatened. It's okay it happens to the best of us. I'm Amanda by the way."

"I'm Tori and now I know who that guy was. Thanks." I nervously laughed.

I walked over to the desk and asked the lady for my schedule. Math was my 1st class in room 305 with Mrs. Layman . Let's see if I can survive.

I walk in to find a short brunette girl and a tall bright red head boy sitting next to each other holding hands. I sat next to girl. It was either next to the girl or the boy. As i sat down she looked at me and said, "You must be the new girl. Everyone's heard about you. You can call me Sara and this is my boyfriend Michael."

The boy in the red hair waved and leaned back putting his feet on the desk.

"Tori Kayler." I said with a weak smile.

"Hey cheer up." Michael smiled as he said, "Calum doesn't bite a lot if you know what I mean." He laughed as my face turned red.

Just as I turned to face forward the dark haired boy, I'm assuming is Calum, walked in and took a seat next to his pal Michael as they did this weird handshake thing.

"Oh look, Mr. Hood decided to join us." Mrs. Layman said, "We have a new student Vi-" I cut her off by saying, "Tori Kayler."

"Well Miss Kayler, enjoy your next 6 months at WedgeVale High School. Good luck because you're going to need it."
