"Wake up, it's five and I need you to help me look for a ring." Nathan said.

I threw a pillow at him and said, "You are so loud. Why are you even up?"

"I just told you, now get up." He said grabbing my arm and yanking me up.

"Fine." I said grabbing the blanket, "But I'm taking this."

"You're a loser." He said, "You have 5 minutes to get ready."

I got up and put my nappy hair into a bun. I decided to just put on sweatpants and a t-shirt. The blanket should just keep me warm, so that's okay. But it's whatever because I am not trying to impress anyone. I swear, whatever Calum and I have, I hope something happens between us because I don't like this confusing stuff.

I walked out of the apartments and found Nathan waiting in his 2014 Forest Green Jeep Wrangler. I slid in as I buckled my seat belt and wrapped the blanket around me.

"Really? You're wearing that to a jewelry store?" He asked me with a worried expression.

"Do you even know what type of ring she wants or what size she is?" I asked him.

"I already have everything thing planned out. I know what size she is, which is a size 6, and she wants Diamonds but we only have three days to plan this." He said worriedly.

"Everything will be okay, we'll go to Kessler's and get her a beautiful ring, but first, how much do you have saved? I have my ATM card if we need anything." I distracted myself by playing with the dog-tags hanging from the dash board.

"$8,000." He said.

"Shit, I forgot you were rich. Well then lunch is on me." I smiled at the thought that Alex was getting married.

"Well in that case, it's actually dinner since its like 5." He laughed.

"Shh, you woke me up so you get to deal with my sleepy part." I saying laying my head back.

The rest of the ride was just us singing along to the radio.

"Band-aids don't fix bullet holes is a weird lyric, if you think about it." I said.

"I don't have time to think, let's go look." He said turning off the engine, getting out, and walked into the the store.

"So Crabby pants, show me your money." I said laughing.

After two hours of searching we found the perfect ring for Alex. It was just absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to help him propose to her.

"Let's go get some food and then we can go get the stuff we need. Have you figured out what you want to do yet?" I asked.

"Yes, and it involves about 2,000 balloons. But let's go to Barley Pop." He said ecstatically.

"I don't even want to know about the balloons." I said laughing.

"Oh, we also need to get rose petals, puffy paint, and a banner." He looked at me and started laughing as i just gave him a weird look.

"Whatever you say dude." I laughed and whipped him in the face with my blanket.

It was about 1 in the morning when we got back to his apartment and it was fun bringing all the stuff in and hearing about his idea to propose. I wish someone could love me this much and I wish Calum would surprise me with crazy, fun things. I don't even know why I think about him so much. I shouldn't like him, I can't like him. but I know for sure I do.

We finally put everything away and I crashed on the couch and said I would help him set everything up when I get up.

"Good because I'm tired and I'm going to sleep." He said locking the door and throwing his keys on the table and heading to the bathroom.

I grabbed my phone and saw that I had a message from Michael and an unknown number.

I checked the unknown message and my heart broke as I read it.
'I want you to feel better bc I care.
why do I care?
hell, I don't fucking know.
all I know is I want to make you food and tuck you in when you're feeling sick and bring you little presents when you're sad and have pillow fights when you're being a loser. or give you hugs when your heart gets broken by a boy who never deserved your heart in the first place.
ask me why I care, I'll always say 'idk, all I know is I do and I love you.''

I checked Michael's message to find out that text was from Calum..

I texted the unknown and asked who it was because it couldn't have been Calum, He can't feel that way about me.
