"I never thought to look at the stars like this, they are so beautiful!" I said idolizing the stars.
"They're beautiful, aren't they." He said smiling at me.
"Why do you do it?" I said sitting up and picking at my finger nails.
"Do what?" He sat with me.
"Play girls. Why are you so rude to everyone?" I asked but it sounded more like a statement.
"I-I-I.. well... I couldn't explain even if I tried." He closed his eyes and lied back down.
"Then try harder." I stated very seriously.
"I don't have a dad and my mom is never around. My little sister and I are on our own, it's been that way since he left.." He shut his eyes tighter to hold back the tears that I could see freely falling. "I have never had a constant in my life, except my sister. I don't know, you wouldn't understand.."
"I understand more than you think." I said while I grabbed his hand.
"You don't though, I don't have a big fancy house, or a family who would take care of me. I never will have that. I will never have a normal family with a mom, or a dad, or hell, even a grandparent." He said getting up.
"You know what, just take me back to the hospital." I said getting my stuff and getting up.
"Fine." He said throwing his stuff in the car.
It was about a 35 minute drive but we finally got back to the hospital.
"I did not have a nice time." I said as I grabbed my stuff and I slammed the door.
The lady at the welcome desk told me that Sara had checked out 10 minutes ago. I decided I was just gonna go home and go to sleep. I really hope Hannah will be up to talking. When I got in the car I called Hannah right away.
"Yello." She cheered in the phone.
"Red." I replied.
"Huh?" She was now confused. "It is 9 at night, why aren't you home?"
She is so over-protective.
"I'm coming home now, Calum took me on a little trip for Valentines Day and it ended very badly. I'll be home in like 20 minutes." I said.
"Tell me what happened when you get here but I made Chicken Parm." I imagine her grin.
"You have been here a day and you're already making me food?" I laughed.
When I got home Adam was walking towards my car as I pulled into the driveway.
"Mom's home." He said.
"Shit, isn't she suppose to be in like Vegas or something?" She was never home, so why is she now?
"It's Valentine's Day T." He walked with me to the door. "We're going out to eat so put something nice on."
"Thanks Sherlock and why does mom suddenly care about our lives?" I walked up to my room as my brother followed.
"She hasn't been home in 3 months, give her a chance." He said a little to annoyed.
Five minutes I got ready and was downstairs waiting with Hannah, her mom, Adam, and my mom.
"I saved the food for you, it's in the fridge for later." Hannah looked at me.
She was wearing a blue and white striped dress almost like a sailor dress. I had a navy blue, ruffle, skater-skirt dress.
"Why are we waiting?" I asked the woman who gave birth to me.
"Just a friend and his son." She said with a preppy voice.
Everything had to be perfect for her, it was honestly so annoying. He hair, make-up, even her dress was perfect. Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door and my mother went to go open it, as she stood up she smoothed her dress.
"Daryl!" She smiled at the man as she kissed his cheek.
"Dad I parked th- Tori?!" A familiar voice said.
"Michael what in the world are you doing here?" I screamed.
"Dad, when you said you were getting engaged to someones mom I knew, why did it have to be hers?" He whined to his father.
"Mom you're engaged?! What the hell?" I walked out of the room not even giving my mom time to explain.
"Stop throwing a temper-tantrum and get back down here, we are going to dinner, with or with-out you." She yelled.
"Good, leave." I screamed back at her.
God she is so irritating.
