The Move

Chapter 2

The bell rang as first hour came to a close. I quickly got my stuff together and got out of that class as fast as I could. I wanted to avoid Calum. I soon saw that I didn't have to worry about that because as I walked out the door I could see Calum making out with a girl who was wearing clothes that were, if I must say, a little too tight for her body. I still hadn't put my backpack away so I went and found my locker. There was nothing in it so I grabbed a few pictures I had taken with me this morning of Hannah, Ben, Dalton, and me. I finally put my stuff away and grabbed my stuff for the next class. As I spun around I was face to face with the dark red head girl who said her name was Amanda.

"What class do you have next?" She said as she snatched my schedule from my hands, "Okay gym, me too. Let's go before we're late."

"Um, alright. Hey Amanda, what's the deal with that Calum boy?" I said a bit scared like it was going to come back and bite me in the ass.

"You don't wanna mess with him, he plays girls and makes them think he cares for them then he'll do it to another girl and he will have you think he likes you but he doesn't." She said a bit too descriptive so I assumed he had done the same to her or someone very close to her.

By now we were by the gym locker room just as the bell rang. I went up to the teacher to let her now I was here.

"Hey, Mrs. Beelned I'm the new student Tori Kayler." I said with smile in my face.

"Well, that's just great," she said sarcastically, "Well get changed and take a seat upstairs in the gym."

"Well okay then." I said as I turned around and went to find Amanda.

I saw Amanda by one of the back lockers so I went up to her and said, "Well that went well."

She smiled and said, "You have no idea, get ready fresh meat." She said hitting me with her shirt and laughing, "Now get dressed."

I changed into some zebra print track shorts and a blue t-shirt. I put my hair up and just in time too because shortly after that, the bell rang and we went upstairs. I had learned that the teacher an class weren't very ordinary. We were playing laser tag today in gym. Yes, laser tag. I had started walking into the class when I noticed my new "friends" Sara and Michael passionately kissing. I was about to say something to them when I noticed a medium height brunette haired girl walk in with Calum on her arm.

"Can this day get any worse." I said clearly catching the attention of the girl.

"What? Do you have a problem with people holding hands and kissing? It's high school, get used to it." She laughed as Calum looked at her and was making out with her in no time.

'Well that's disgusting.' I thought as I looked at them and pretended to throw up.

"Alright ladies and gentlemen, please personal space Mr. Hood and Mrs. Johnson. You come here to get excersise, not herpes." The lady with the blond hair said as everyone except Calum and the girl laughed, "With that being said, time to play laser tag." She smiled and had us go to the guy who I'm assuming was the laser tag worker who lent us the stuff.

We played three or four round befor the bell rang for us to go and get changed. The gym teacher who's name i found out was Ms. O'Reilly yelled at Calum and the girl who stated very clearly was Hailey.

"I hope everyday isn't this bad," I said to Sara as I got into the locker room, "I could use a day without Calum and Hailey in it."

"Trust me, if anyone can change Calum for the better, it's you. I haven't known you long but I know you enough to say that." She smiled. "You could be the one for him."

I couldn't help but think, 'she is crazy, Calum? Me? Together? Noo.'
