Mom acted weird all day.She was upset,I could feel her.So I decided to sneak out the room after she fell asleep."Jefferson?"I started looking around the ship and I found him in the kitchen.

"Jefferson?""Ezra,what are you doing here alone?Where is Nox?"I sighed."Mom is asleep.But she's sad.I know my mom!It's all his fault!"Jefferson sat down and pulled a chair.

"Sit."I climbed up to the chair and sat down."Whose fault?""Your captain.He makes her upset and angry all the time.I don't like it."

"Calder does make her angry a lot.I noticed that too.Calder is a difficult person to deal with.But I don't think he would make Nox upset knowingly."

"I don't care!She's my mommy!He doesn't get to make her sad.She already misses my uncles."He looked around."How about I find Calder for you,Ezra?"

"Good idea.So I can ask him what he did now!Because mommy wouldn't tell me!"Jefferson took me to Calder."Calder,this little guy wants to talk to you about why you upset his mom."

Jefferson left.I sat on the ground."Talk.""Ezra,go back to your mom.She would freak out if she couldn't find you."I rolled my eyes.Mom taught me how to do that.

"Why do you keep making her feel sad?Because I feel sad when she feels sad.I don't like being sad."He didn't take me seriously."Go back to your mom,Ezra."

"I thought you loved my mommy.Then,why are you making her upset?""I'm not going to talk about this with you,Ezra."I stood up and pulled him down by his sleeve.

"Fine.But just know that you don't deserve my mommy.""That one,I know,Ezra.Now go back to Nox."I went back to mom and then started looking around the room.

I woke up with Ezra walking around the room."Ezra?What are you doing there,baby?""Good afternoon,mommy!"He jumped on the bed and kept jumping.

"You feel energetic!Come down here!"He jumped and fell on my on purpose!"OHHH!Why would you do that?!""I am so sorry,mommy.Did I hurt you?"I smiled."It's alright,sweetie."

The door opened out of nowhere."I came to tell Ezra that he was right."Ezra rolled off me."One second,baby."I whispered to Ezra and then went outside with Calder.

"Calder,what was that supposed to mean?"He pulled me to himself and hugged me."Calder?""Be mad at me but just let me have this."

I let him hold me."Why would you say that?""Say what?"I backed away."You can't just say something like having kids and then expect me to stick around just like that."

"That freaked you out while you have a four year old inside?!""Three!He is three years old!"I took a deep breath."Calder,I might have a three year old inside but I'm 19!"

"So,what?!You already had a child.You didn't even thought of this stuff when you were at that age!"I stopped him."I'm not going to do this with you,no."

"You were 15!"I scoffed."But I was engaged to Adrian for three years before that!Three fucking years!Do you see where I'm going?!I haven't even known you for two years!"

"Fucking marry me then!""Mom,please don't."Ezra walked out of the study with an attitude."What the hell did you just do to my son?Ezra?!"I went after him.

I found him,fallen and hurt."Ezra!"He looked over me."I think I tripped."I went over there."What were you thinking?"I picked him up."Let's get you in the water."

I got him in the water and started heeling him."Thanks,mom."I smiled."Just...Be more careful.Why did you fall,baby?"He hugged my neck.

"I wanted to see if I could run down the stairs.""Can you?"He shook his head."No?"I hugged him back and took off his bracelet."Mommy?"I nodded."Yes,baby?"

"Are you going to marry him?"I took a deep breath and honestly,I have no idea."Why did you ask?""I don't like him but you say you love him."I backed away.

"Whatever I feel,what you feel is much more important for me.Especially about something like this."He broke the hug."I think I need to talk to Pisinoe."I giggled.

"Pisinoe?"He nodded."I need advice."I smiled."Do you want me to take you back to the castle?"He shook his head."No."I sighed."Why did I even ask?"

"Mom!"He started whining."If you take me,how am I supposed to talk about you?"I nodded."Fair enough.How about this?I take you,I came back and then Pisinoe could bring you back."

He nodded."I like that.""Good.I will just let the crew know I'm leaving and coming back in a few hours."He shook his head."No.You're worrying that Calder will get scared."

"True but I-""Mommy!No excuses!Let him get scared!I don't like him anyways!He always breaks your heart and hurts you.I bet I would find pearls if we slept underwater like in the castle."

I'm not going to admit that one!No way!"Fine!Let's just go back to the castle!"

I took him to the castle and told Pisinoe to bring him back as soon as she could."I'm going to miss you,baby.""Can you go back now?"I scoffed."You are lucky,I love you so much."

"I love you too,mommy."He jumped on me and I fell on the ground."Go before he gets scared and then you two fight.When you fight,you get sad and I don't like that."

"I'm sorry,sweetie.I'm going to go now,then."He nodded and kissed my cheek before sending me away.I came back to the ship slowly with no rush whatsoever.

I hated to admit that Ezra had a point when he said that Calder gets all freaked out when I go missing for a couple minutes.About three days later,at night,I came back to the ship.

"Hey guys."Rudy hugged me so tight,I was so sure that he broke a rib or two.Maybe three!It hurts a lot!The gaurds rose from underneath the surface."My Lady?!"

Rudy let me go."I'm fine.He just missed me,I guess?""Are you sure,my Lady?"I nodded and he went back to the water.I turned back to Rudy.

"You did hug me that tight because you missed me,right?"He nodded."Also,we're all just happy you're back because he is even more fucking terrifying when you're not around!"

"So,what?He's just going to freak out whenever I'm gone?Well,that will be a problem.Is Ezra back yet,by the way?"He shook his head."He's not with you?"

"No.Pisinoe was going to bring him.I thought he would be back by now.I guess they have a lot to talk about."I shrugged."How could you not care about the captain,freaking out?!"

"I just don't.I stopped.He's just going to pop out of his study,call me in and then yell at me until we both have a sore throat.That we cannot yell any louder at each other.I'm sick of that."

"Then go back to your castle."I turned around and,good Lord,have I missed him?But,I didn't do anything about it."I will.Pardon me for coming back,asshole."

I whistled as I called out to the guards underneath."My Lady?""We're leaving.Let's take the route that the next shift uses so we can take them back too."I turned back to Rudy.

"I don't know which route Ezra might want to take on his way back here.So,tell them to come back when you see them?"He nodded.

I turned back to Calder."I have a few stuff I want to pick up since I'm clearly not coming back.So if you could just move a little away,that would be great!"I gave him a mocking smile.

"I'm not going stay somewhere I'm not going to be in peace.It's not like my son likes anyone else other than Jefferson,Hook and Rudy.No offense,he's three.Besides you.You can be offended."

I walked past him and went to the study to go to my bedroom.I'm done with having a sore throat almost every night of every day I spent here.
