I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I let her onto my ship.After what I learned,I hate her even more!"Calder.""Meg."She handed me a little box."This is it."

I took the box and looked into it.It was the ring I asked for.It look just like the image I found in an old book.The black onyx shone under the moon light.It was perfect for Nox.

"Legend says that,this is the family heirloom of the original Dark Lady's family.This ring...It belongs to her,Calder."I looked at it again before closing the box.

I could see Nox wearing this ring.I could imagine her with this ring on her finger.Needless to say,I love that image almost as much as I love Nox.

"I don't want to talk to you,Meg.I don't want to see you or even hear your voice ever again.I may have wronged you back when-"She cut me off.

"We were forced into that union and I'm not mad at you for not loving me.I don't hate you for what we went through.I'm perfectly fine with staying away.Like you want me to,Calder."

She surprised me with her reaction after all these years.It has been 12 years since we lost our daughter...Since we drifted apart even more...

"Leave the ship.Right now,Meg."She nodded."I would but you need me to find her.If you don't find her,how are you supposed to ask her to marry you?"

We followed her and some guards whom she brought.Weeks of non-stop traveling,we made it to an island.A normal island!Is this the mesmerizing kingdom Nox talked about?!Really?!

Meg came onto the ship."Do not throw your anchor into the water,you just might kill someone."She jumped back into the water and just when I thought she disappeared...

I saw her with Nox,talking.She was playing around with Ezra until Meg approached them.She seemed happy.Happy enough to hurt me.

"He's here,my Lady."I stood up."Here?!You brought him here?!Megdalope,what are you doing?!There is a reason why our location is sacred!Why would you bring him?!"

I was furious with her but I didn't find it that reasonable after she told me why."I wanted to end your heartbreak,my Lady.You're hurt and I know it pains you to be without him."

I saw Calder coming our way.Ezra saw him too and pushed me towards him."Go,mommy."It hasn't been a month but,good Lord,have I missed that chisled face?

Those icy bluue eyes...That black soft hair that I cannot have enough of...Those lips that make me feel like anything is possible even in the worst times...I missed him a lot!

He wrapped his arms firmly around my lower waist and pressed me up against his entire chest.His eyes pierced through mine and looked right into my heart's deepest corner.

His simple look sent shivers all over my body."By any chance,you will say yes if I ask you to marry me,this time?""If you ask,I might.Just a possiblity."

"Adrienne Nox Russell,will you marry me?"I gave him the widest,most genuine,my heart-warming smiled I had."Calder Kai Gawain,yes,I will marry you."

The entire crew came out of the ship,cheering loudly.Pisinoe,Megdalope,Ezra and all of my people came out of the water to cheer.Even Azazel.

"Now,you will be mine for the rest of our lives,at last.You were always mine but you cannot deny it anymore."I smiled."I'm a liar,Calder.I've always been yours.You know me.Come on."

He leaned down into my neck as I hugged his neck,tightly."I do know you."I nodded."I don't want to leave you again.Why do you always find a way to make me leave?"

"I don't mean to,you should know that."I nodded."I know."Pisinoe came and seperated us."I will bring her back in a few."She snatched me by hand and took me deep into the woods.

I saw Megdalope,and a few maids too,waiting there for me.They took out the most beautiful gown I have ever seen!I loved it!It was literally perfect.

Right when I was looking at myself through the mirror,I saw Ezra behind me with his jaw on the ground.Wide open eyes stared at me through the mirror.

"You look like an angel,mommy!You look so pretty!"I picked him up and spun around with him."Awe...My babyboy..."I hugged him tightly."Can I ask you something for me?"

"Anything,mommy."I smiled."Will you walk me down the aisle,babyboy?"He hugged me tight."I can do that?"I nodded and kissed him on the forehead."Yes,sure you can."

I put him down and held his hand.Pisinoe led us out of the woods.I was so happy.Ezra walked me down the aisle as Pisinoe took her spot next to Calder as we walked.

"Do you take thee,Adrienne Nox Russell,as your lawfully and spiritually wife?"He nodded."Till the end."I rolled my eyes with a smile.

"Do you take thee,Calder Kai Gawain,as your lawfully and spiritually husband?"I nodded."Till the end.I wouldn't have it any other way."

Calder took out the ring and it seemed so familiar."I know this ring,Calder.""It used to be yours."Calder put the ring on my finger.

I think I now know what it actually feels to be with a person I actually love.Being married to a person I truly love.

However,that happiness did not last as long as I wished it to be.I screamed in pain as I felt the bronze chains pulling my limbs apart."BARON,YOU BASTARD!!!"

I found myself in a war between Sirens and Merpeople.Unlike us,they don't have tails.They have the regular body of a regular human being with extra gills.

When I managed to open my eyes,finally,I saw Ezra being dragged away by that bastard Baron."BARON YOU LET MY SON GO!"

I screamed at him as loud as I could.I pulled the chains that kept me down.It pained me so much!I knew that these burn wounds would never go away.

I freed myself from all of them and got to Baron.I dug my hand directly inside his chest.I felt his heart beat inside my palm."You wanted a fight,I gave you a war.You want my son?I'll end you."

I tore his heart out of his chest."You really should have known better,Baron!"I got Ezra by hand."Come on,baby.We need to go."

I tore out so many hearts even in this condition.I handed Ezra over to Pisinoe."Where is Calder?""I don't know."I started looking for him and I found his dead body.

When I saw him move,I pushed it all aside and tried to pull myself togather to get to him.They all came at me.My guards faught them off.But I tore all of their hearts who dared to go against me.

By the time I got rid of all of them,He really was dead.I ran at him but the guards and Pisnoe held me back."LET ME GO!!!YOU HAVE TO LET ME GO!!!I CAN'T LOSE HIM!!!NOT HIM TOO!!!NO!!!"

"Adrienne we have to go!You cannot stay out here any longer!More of them is coming!You need to be in the castle!"

None of it mattered.I lost him.I lost Calder.Right when things were going great.What am I going to do without him,now?
