"Worse?I don't believe you.""You don't know shit about me.The only thing you do know about me is probably my name.But then again,everyone knows that."

He scoffed."It's not like you know me so well,love."I rolled my eyes."I never claimed to know you well,Calder.""Good.Because you don't know shit about me either."I nodded.

"True.But I know your name,your family name,how you like or dislike your food and what pisses you off."

"That's because you cook with Jefferson for me and the crew!"I shrugged."But you don't know those about me."

"I know that you could sing.And that you sing to Willow almost every night."I scoffed."Who told you?Hook?Jefferson?Rudy?Or was it Silas?I can go on,Calder."

"No one.Nights are really silent after everyone is asleep.I could hear it from the study."I nodded."Well,you have a weird way of taking a break from someone."

"I still think you are a useless whore,Nox.Just because I call you by your name now,doesn't mean my opinions have changed."

"And you are still a fucking bastard that I hate and despise.I will never call you captain because you are not my captain.Nor will I every do as you order or command me to do.Fuck you."

I went downstairs to check on Willow."He killed him."I nodded."I know.I'm sorry I wasn't there,Willow."

"Where were you?"I sighed."I needed to be alone and the time passed quicker than I thought it did.You ready for bed?"He nodded."Then,off we go."

"NOX!!!"A loud scream came out of the study,unexpectedly!I scoffed and I did not move an inch!"WHAT?!"

He slammed the door behind him as he came out."NOX!"I waved my hand."Hello?!I'm right here,motherfucker.What the hell do you want?!"

"You fucking come here,right now!""The hell I'm doing as you tell me to!"He came down here with pure rage filled in his blue eyes,that were turning darker by the moment.

"You don't come,he doesn't live."He looked at Willow."You are bluffing."But he wasn't bluffing.He got him under his arm and got his sword around Willow's neck.

"Alright!You are not bluffing!Let him go!"Calder got my arm before he released Willow out of his grip."Fucking whore."He mumbled in a low tone.

He threw me and my arm into the study and locked the door behind himself.Calder never locked the door before and that creeped me out.

"Calder?What are you doing?Because this is creepy."He got behind the desk and took out dad's calender."What the hell is this,Nox?!"I scoffed."A fucking cale-"

"I knwot hat!But that's not what I'm asking!This!This mark on tomorrow!Written in Siren language!"I got the calender out of his hand.

"Why is it written in Siren language?And why is your name in there?Answer me!God dammit,Nox!"I scoffed."Fucking relax,Calder!It's for my fucking 18th birthday!"

I rolled my eyes."Fucking asshole."He took the calender."You're going to be 18 tomorrow?"I nodded."Now you know my birthday.That makes two things."

He gave me an eye roll."I will be 18 tomorrow.I'm not yet.""What is it with the Siren language?Nox,tell me or I swear to-"His voice was getting louder and more annoying!

"Oh,shut up!It's probably because Naida and I made peace with them,years ago!They got us both as a settlement.It was before Nathan even left.I was a fucking baby!"

"You...You don't understand do you?You are going to be 18!Sirens got you when you were a baby!You probably stayed with them long enough to put a fucking curse on you!A girl child!"

He scoffed."No wonder,they kept you alive.You are a levarage against them!""They did do something to me but it wasn't a curse!And it won't be a curse if I could get you a deal!"

"What kind of deal,Nox?!Do you even hear yourself?!If you are cursed,we might as well be too!What the hell did they do to you?!"I shrugged."Hell if I know,Calder,honestly."

Actually,I do know.I know all about it.Calder doesn't need to know everything!Does he,now?!

"No one even knows where they live.How are you going to take me there?""Who said anything about taking you or going somewhere?"He came to the front of his desk."What do you mean?"

"I'm aware of the situation,Calder.That is why I call them here,they get me,we make a deal and then I come back with written documents!That's it."

"No.You are not getting off of this ship.""Do you want them to sing to you and die or something,Calder?Because,if so?That's easy."He shook his head.

"Then,I have to be the one to handle this.You might not trust me and you don't have to.But right now,you do have to trust me.You have no other option."

I got out to the deck and everybody went inside the ship.I took a deep breath before starting to sing.

"Upon one summer's morning,I carefully did stray.Down by the walls of wapping,where I met a sailor gay.Conversing with the young lass,who seemed to be in pain.Saying William,when you go,I fear you will never return again."

I kept singing as I waited for them to show up.A few minutes later,the ship started shaking as if an earthquake was happening.

"Adrienne?"I sighed in relief as I heard a familiar voice of a woman I heard about."You must be Pisinoe.Could I see you?"A huge wave of water came onto the deck and left a woman.

"I am considered to be one of the oldest one of my kind.Hence,why I can transform into a human body like yours."I nodded.

"Nen's,I mean,my father's calender.It has been marked in your language for tomorrow.I haven't seen that before.I did not know about that until an hour ago."

"Your 18th birthday.We know,dear.Your parents and I made a deal.""What was the deal?"She sighed.

"A world full of disgusting men,we don't trust them with you.""Don't trust them with me?And who is 'we'?I know you did something to me when I was a baby.but this is complicated."

Willow got out to the deck and I could see that he had woken up from his sleep."Nox?""Willow,go back to bed.It's late."Pisinoe came over to me.

"I don't know him but I can sense how deeply you care about him."Willow hid himself behind me."Look,my parents are dead now.I called you here to make a new deal."

Out of nowhere,Calder showed up.He must have heard Willow and thought that they left."Is this the one who killed them,Adrienne?"I nodded.

"Pisinoe,you are not listening to me.I want a new deal.The same deal Nen and Naida made with you.I want to make that same deal with you."

"Well,I thought you would push it like Nen and Naida did.So,you are ready to sacrifice your first daughter to us just like they sacrificed you?"
