Amelia patiently waited as she walked into the tube,

"Is this seat taken?" Amelia asked as she cocked her head,

"No," Max shook his head as he looked up from his phone,

"Yeah," he quickly corrected himself as he saw the girl she was wearing,

"Not interested in it anyways." The Scouser mumbled as she picked at her fingers,

"You annoyed that we beat you?" She added as she looked at him with a smirk,

"It was a shitty win," the Dutchman grumbled as he rolled his eyes,

"You're just angry," Amelia decided that she was going to mess with him a bit,

"Rightly so," Max nodded as he rolled his eyes,

"It's a ballsy move wearing that shirt," the Scouser pointed out as she looked at the Barcelona kit,

"Especially after last night," she added as she clicked her tongue,

"It would be even worse if we beat you," the Dutchman knew that either way, he wouldn't win wearing the football kit,

"Well you didn't," the girl smirked as she crossed her arms,

"And it was by far of the best games at Anfield that we have in a while," she added as she pushed her glasses off the bridge off her nose,

"What happened to you finding a new seat?" The boy asked as he cocked his head,

"This became more amusing," Amelia explained with a soft smile as she tucked her hair behind her ear.

It had been three days since that game and Amelia was on her way to meet up with her father,

"The empty seat next row," the flight attendant directed the girl who nodded,

"Not you again," Amelia let out a groan as her face dropped,

"Well, which one of us is switching seatings?" Max asked as he shut his laptop,

"Because I'm not doing this today," he added as he shook his head,

"Well likewise," the Scouser nodded as she crossed her arms,

"Before you two start trying to move this plane is fully booked," the flight attendant sighed as she could hear the bickering between the duo and knew where it was going to go.

"We are stuck for the next few hours," the girl let out a groan,

"Sit," Max motioned to the girl to sit next to him,

"We may have to get used to this sight aye?" He added with a shrug as he knew that there was nothing more that he could do.

They were barely a full hour into the flight when Max brought up football,

"So why you support Liverpool?" Max asked curiously asked he cocked his head,

"I grew up going to all the games with my parents," Amelia explained with a shrug,

"You don't sound like one of them," the Dutchman could tell that the girl had a much softer accent than most from the city,

"A Scouser?" The Scouser asked as the boy nodded,

"I was born on the outskirts so I don't have the whole accent," she explained it to him,

"Now why do you support Liverpool, like there are many different teams there right?" The boy assumed that she would have gone for Everton,

"Because I liked red as a kid," the girl shrugged as her whole family liked the colour,

"It's like why do you support Barca if you're Dutch?" She added as she cocked her head,

"I always liked the team you know?" Max didn't really have an answer for her,

"At least I don't support Real Madrid," he added with a smirk,

"Well that is something that we can and should both agree on," Amelia nodded as she definitely didn't like the team from Madrid,

"We actually have a common ground," the Dutchman watched the girl as she ran her fingers through her hair,

"I guess we do," the Scouser smiled,

"I never actually caught your name," the boy realised that he didn't know a lot about the girl besides where she was from and what team she supported,

"I'm Amelia," the girl held her hand out for her to shake,

"Max," the boy nodded as he shook it,

"I sense the start of a potential friendship," he added in a joking tone,

"Let's not get too ahead of ourselves now," Amelia couldn't help but crack a smile at his comment,

"What are you going to do in Baku?" Max asked as he cocked his head,

"I'm going to meet my dad," the Scouser explained as she fiddled with her rings,

"You?" She added as she furrowed her eyebrows,

"I'm a Formula One driver," the boy began as he watched the girl process the information,

"Oh like Lando Norris?" The girl asked as she thought of a list of drivers that she knew of,

"Did you just compare me to him?" Max pushed his lips in a thin line,

"Was I not meant to?" Amelia asked as she cocked her head.
