It had been a hectic week for (Y/n) as she had been flooded with course work so she was just trying to work on that.

"(Y/n) are you awake?" Lando asked as he walked into the house,

"Hello?" He added as all of the lights were on but he just couldn't hear any noise,

"Are you okay?" She was sat on the ground as she rocked herself back and forth,

"Just hold me please," (Y/n) looked up at him with tears in her eyes,

Whenever she was upset all she wanted was a hug or just some form of physical contact.

"What happened?" The boy asked as he walked over to her side and sat by her,

"I've had a rough week," the girl explained as she rested her head on his torso,

"Course work has just been-" she added as she chewed the inside of her cheek,

"Let me run you a bath," Lando cut her off as he placed a kiss on her forehead,

"It always relaxes you," he added as he wiped his thumb on her cheek to get rid of the tear,

"You don't need to," (Y/n) shook her head as she didn't want to put that on Lando,

"It sounds like you need it," the boy spoke in what was barely a whisper as he smiled.

(Y/n) had been in the bath for a while and had finally gotten out and dressed,

"So I'll see you next week sometime then?" Lando spoke to whoever he was on the phone with,

"I'll try chat to you before the big evening again then," he responded to something that the person said before he saw (Y/n) stood by the door,

"How is your girlfriend doing?" (Y/n) asked as she smirked and watched him hang up,

"My what?" The boy looked at her with wide eyes,

"Your girlfriend," the girl repeated herself as she crossed her arms,

"The person you were on the phone to," she added in a duh tone,

"Wait that was George," Lando explained as he let out a laugh,

"Oh," (Y/n) nodded as she dropped her arms,

"Why did you think that it was my girlfriend?" The boy asked as he cocked his head as he watched her walk closer to him,

"Because you were talking about the big night," the girl explained as she looked at the boy as he on the couch.

"He is surprising his girlfriend," Lando smiled as he ran his fingers through his hair,

"That's the big night," he added as he watched her nod,

"That makes a bit more sense," (Y/n) tucked her hair behind her ear,

"Why did you think I have a girlfriend?" The boy asked as he furrowed his eyebrows,

"Have you seen the number of girls that want you?" The girl spoke in a duh tone as she smiled,

"Not really," Lando shook his head as he contemplated telling her about his feelings,

"Not when they aren't the girl that I like," he added as he leaned his head back as he looked at her,

"Who is the special girl then?" (Y/n) asked as she wanted to know about the lucky girl,

She wondered why she hadn't learnt about them sooner from her best friend.

"It's you, it's always been." The boy confessed as he watched her cocked her head,

"You like me?" The girl asked as she furrowed her eyebrows,

"Who doesn't should be the real question," Lando couldn't help but let out a chuckle,

"Lando-" (Y/n) began as Lando placed his hand on the back of her thigh and pulled her into his lap,

"I like you," the boy spoke softly as he smiled,

"I'm glad you do," the girl nodded as she ran her fingers through his hair,

"Don't beat around the bush," Lando spoke in a warning tone,

"I've liked you since I moved in you idiot," (Y/n) confessed as she smiled,

"You have," the boy cocked his head as he was taken by surprise,

"Yeah," she nodded as she smiled,

"I just never made a move because I was too nervous to do so," she added with a shrug,

"So we both like each other," Lando tried to make sure that he could make it that they were on the same page,

"It appears so," (Y/n) nodded as she looked at his lips,

"What's going through your mind?" The boy asked as he cocked his head,

"I wanted to do this," the girl whispered as she placed a kiss on his lips,

"I'm glad you did," Lando nodded as he smiled,

"Are you feeling better?" He added as he cocked his head and let his hands slowly move to her waist,

"Yeah," (Y/n) nodded as she fiddled with the curls on the nape of his neck.

"I needed that bath more than I knew," she added in what was barely a whisper,

"Well I'm glad you took it then," Lando nodded as he watched her shiver,

"Now come here," he added as he opened his arms for her to hug him,

"I'm cold," the girl mumbled as she suddenly got cold,

"I'll make you cold then too," she added not wanting to make him cold,

"I don't mind being cold so cuddle me." The boy smiled as the girl rested her head on his shoulder as he locked his hands around her torso.
