''Should I leave?'' Lucaria asked concernred.

''Uhm,no.It's ok to stay'' Carlisle responded, looking to all of us for approval.

We just nodded.

''Well,until now we have three no's but four yes's.'' He went on.

''Plus,Edward and myself have not yet parted with somebody,

and what I mean to say is, we have ''girls'' versus ''boys''!''

He said with a laugh,because there were no boys or girls in the room,for that matter.

Everybody chuckled but Jacob who was still scowling and sending death glares to Lucaria.

The ''If looks could kill'' entered my mind...

''Edward,you have to choose now son''

My husband shook his head, as if he wanted to clear it.

''I'm sorry Bella,but I have to say no''

I couldn't believe it.Even though I knew the reasons behind his choice,

I couln't help it, but feel betrade!

''Well,I'm afraid that it doesn't matter Edward,

because I have made up my mind and I say yes!''

Carlisle spoke and his words shocked me.Out of all ''people'' here he was the last I would have thought he was positive about Lucaria's ''adoption''.

''Lucaria you're staying untill...''

Carlisle was cut mid-sentence by a furious Jake.

''..Untill,those filthy bloodsuckers rip all our heads off!''

''Jake!'' I protested.''Whatch your mouth!'' There were children in here after all.

''No Bella,You whatch it!''He exploded.

''Are you willing to loose your child to see only because you want to play mommy to the blonde freak?''

His words were like slaps in my beautiful face.

''Enough Dog!'' Rose said before I had the chance.

I had not noticed before then that Lucaria was sobbing soundleslly.

Huge tears were streaming down her beutiful face.

''Momma?Can I?''Renesmee gestured towards her crying new friend.

I smiled a sad smile and after kissing her cheeks I let her go.

Even if Lucaria was gorgeous, Renesmee's beauty iside out was far more noticable.

She hopped off my lap and after giving a disgusted look to ''Her Jake'' that only made him shut up and look lost and everybody else to crack up,

she hugged Lucaria close to her little body and whispered to her.

''Shhs,please don't cry.Jacob did not mean that.He is just jealous I'm not paying any attention to him''

Jake seemed to have something to say to that,but Edward gave him a long look that made him to shut his mouth.

Lucaria had calmed down a little and was ready to relpy when my cell phone rang.

I picked it up after mumbling a sorry.

''Hello?''

''Hey,Bells!''Charlie's cheerful deep voice cried from the other line.

''What's up Dad?''

''I was just giving you guys a heads-up,I'm coming to see Ness!''

I became even more pale than I was now hearing his words!

''No!'' I half screamed back to him.

He couldn't see Lucaria!

Not just then at least!

It was too dangerous for him but for all of us too!

I composed myself before he had the chance to say anything,

''I mean what about bringing Renesmee to you guys?Sue's ok with that right?''

''Uhm,sure...Is everything alright over there?''

He seemed worried.

''Yes,everything is great! Esmee is just renovating some things and the whole house is a mess''

Couldn't I have come up with a better lie?

I was always a bad liar,but I had a new mind now!Wasn't that supposed to help?I let a huge inner sigh.

''Ok,then.We'll be waiting for you Bells!''He seemed to buy it!

''Oh but Bella. aren't you and Edward supposed to be at University by now?''

Oh no!

With everything going on I had compoletely forgot about that!

What I was going to say to him now?!

''Uhm,hang on dad,somebody is on the other line.''

I pressed the ''waiting'' button and turned desperate to Edward.

''He wasnts to know..''

He cut me off.

''Yeah,yeah yeah I know.Tell him that we enrolled late and that we will attend the next semester''

''Uhm,Dad?Are you there?''

''Yes,so..why?''

I said what Edward had just toled me and waited for his response.

''Oh,that's too bad Bells,but I guess a few months won't kill you''

I was relieved once again.

After agreeing with him,I promised I would see him in no time and hung up.

''Whoa,that was close!How did you managed to come up with that so fast?''

''Uhm,I've been thinking and that's the best thing to do especially now'' Edward said pointing to Lucaria.

He was right.

''Nessie,come on babe.We have to go to see grandpa!''

''But Lucaria will be all alone!''

She was always so happy to see Charlie,but I guess things are going to change a lot around here.

''She won't be''Rose and Alica said in unison.

''Besides,it's high time we visited the mall!''

Alice squirmed.

And then made a face to Lucarias ghost-like white gown.

We all laughed and Ness semmes satisfied with that cause she waved at Lucaria and run to my extended arms.
