Chapter 32

''Bienvenuto  to Italy!''Our pilot's voice  echoed around the plane,making my stomach sink.

Edward who was sitting besides me squeezed my hand.I didn't reply in any way though,instead I turned towards my left were Alice was sitting and whispered in her ear.

''It's Happening all over again Alice''Refering to the time-not even two years ago-when I had fled Forks with Alice in order to 'save' Edward from,well actually,himself.

It was partially my fault back then That the whole ordeal went bad.

''No it's not.You're one of us now.You're stronger.You can and will do this'' Alice said and griped my free hand tightly.

She was right.I could do this.We could do this.Jake was going to be just fine,we needed a plan though and we needed it fast...

The pilot's voice echoed again signaling us to fasten our seat-belts because the plane was about to land.

It was a long flight.Really long flight.That didn't meant though that I was as relived as the other passengers of this plane for the flight to be over.

The weals touched the ground with a light 'thud' and after five minutes the air-stewardesses were seeing us off,with fake smiles on their faces.

When our group approached them all three of them did a double take and their eyes widened.

I tried to picture what they were seeing and I understood.Four stunning beautiful young people-at least what's they thought- and two well-build olive-oil-toned-skin handsome guys all together at once.

We knew it was risky travelling this way but we didn't have time to dwell on this fact for long.

Once we left the airport we find a taxi that took us to Napoli.From there we took,or rather stole,two cars so by seven in the afternoon this day we made it to Volterra.

The town was eerie silent.Last time I've been here the  whole city was buzzing with people that had come to celebrate St.Marcus's Day.

Now,when we parked the cars and got out,silence greeted us.

We didn't have a plan but also we didn't have time to actually form one.One thing we knew for sure though.We were going to split up.

The wolves would keep a distance and they wouldn't come in with us.That must give us some sort of advantage.

They would wait till early in the morning to make their move.

We hoped that once Alice was away from there and close enough to the Volturi she would see what was going to happen.And with Edward's 'gift' we will decide who to proceed.

''Okay.You guys must head up to the main square,it's the one with the clock in it''Carlisle said to Sam and Paul.

''You can find a hotel to spend the night if you want.We won't be there till very late today so your part is away from now''He went on and after the 'wolves' nodded they headed towards,what I could imagine was the square.

''So that leaves us with nothing else to d-''

''Chained''Alice's voice cut Carlisle off.

We all turned to her to see what she meant but she wan't there.Yeah sure she was standing besides us but her eyes were blank and her expression poker.

''What do you see?''Jasper asked her guiding her to the closest bench making her sit down,

''Chained''She said again. 

''He's chained in a room.I don't recognise the place.It's small and instead of cement there's rock everywhere.''

''What else?''I asked ''Is he okay?''

''As far as I can say yes'''She said and I left out a breath I didn't know I was holding.That was before she went on though...

''He's thinner.They haven't given him food.They want him weak so that he can't fight it off,the chains,them,everything''

''They're afraid of him''Edward pipped in,his eyes focused on something far away and from what I could gather he must be watching Alice's thought along with her.

''Afraid?Who the Volturi?''I asked sarcasm heavy in my voice.

''Bella they don't know what he can do.Aro has indeed many powers and people with many powers but he's familiar and has studied all of them in detail.Shape-shifters are unknown to him.He can't predict what he's going to do''Said Carlisle.

And I found myself nodding alone with him.That's good.We at least know one of their soft points.

Who would have known?!

''They are waiting for us.They know we are here''Alice said again.

''What are we waiting for then?Let's go save my best friend''And with that I zoomed away towards their ''fine residence'' more confident than ever.

Sorry that I haven't updated in ages but I don't have time with all the finals right now.

Hope this chapter was good despite how awfully small it is.

I will update real soon but once again I won't do it unless I get at least three comments.

The only reason I do that is not because I want to have more comments but I want to know what do you guys think about the story so far.

What's gonna happen next?

Is Jake going to make it .....or not?
