I was sure that both Lucaria and Ness could hear him.They may both be half somethings but they were half vampires as well and that was enough.

Light footsteps echoed in the room after a few seconds and then they both came in the room holding....

holding hands.!

That definitely was not good.If we had to chose 'No',

Renesmee was going to be hurt.

They already seemed like good friends that knew each other since the day they were born.

''Yes?'' Lucaria asked Edward as Renesmee let go of her hand and run to sit on my lap.

''We would like to ask you a few questions if that is ok.''Edward answered,and it surprised me that he used the same tone to the one he was using when he was speaking to Ness.

''Of course''She nodded,shifting her way from one foot to another awkwardly.

''Come and take a seat with us'' Esmee said,probably noticing her uncomfortable posture.

She smiled a small smile and came to sit beside Jasper.

''Well we would like to know more about you,let's say your appetite.'' Carlisle now took the lead.

''Up until the day I learnt I was a vampire,I was surviving with human food,but since then I prefer blood.Still I can survive with both.''

Before any of us could say anything she went on.

''I have never killed anyone before for his blood, though.''

She seemed proud,saying that and for all that I knew she should be.

She was a newborn,in a way.Let alone a child,with no instructions to follow.

''And what about your ''gifts''?Do you have any?''

''Well,Antoine told me that my father could create mental images and show them to whoever he wanted.

I guess that's part of the reason why I can mentaly ''talk'' to whoever I want.

Antoine told me that my gift was tylepathy or something similar to that.''

All of a sudden,everybody in the room but me,let out hisses and curses.

''What's wrong?''I asked alarmed.

''Lucaria was using,uhm, her gift''

Edward replied me.

''Didn't you hear it?'' Lucaria now asked me and she seemed highly confused and a bit bothered.

''My Momma is a shield,that's why''Renesmee answered her proudly while she turned and put her palm to my cheek.

She showed me what had just happened,from her viewpoint.

Renesmee was thinking about everything Lucaria had said about her gift,when a voice echoed in her head saying ''It's not pleasant though''.

It was clear that it was Lucaria's voice but a bit mufled and more high,beating a soprano.

She was right.

That voice sure as hell was everything but pleasant.

Renesmee let her hand fall from my cheek as the memmory ended.

''Outs!That was...something'' I said,glad that I could experience what rhe others had, moments ago.

I was sure though that if I had my shield down,I could ''hear'' her as well.

''She's gifted too?'' Jacob asked with annoyance and desperation.

We all ignored him and turned to hear Carlisle's nest question.

''I don't know if you are aware of the answer of the following question but still,will you stop growing soon?''

I am alive twenty years now,but I look like ten years old,and that means that I grow up more slow than humans.

So,two human years count like one for me.

Still,I stopped growing up when I first phased.I haven't changed ever since''

I let out a breath,I didn't know I was holding.

That was good news right?I mean she had many similarities with Renesmee.

''Well I guess that was all'' Carlisle said.''It's time to decide''

''Again''
