My jaw hit the ground and so did Edward's to that matter.

How?Who?Why?Where?When? was all I could think about.

I really had not noticed everyone else's expressions before

,but as I looked closer I saw a bit more controlled version of how my face must have looked like right now.

That was of course not the case with my daughter who looked really...happy?

Carlisle broke the awkward silence.

''So how can my familly help you Lucaria?''

He said in a polite yet reserved way.

All of a sudden Lucaria's huge smile was wipped cleaned from her face.Her head lowered so she was now looking the ground as she stuttered:

''W..well,your familly could help me in a way..by..by giving me a place in it...''she finished,her fragile voice breaking,and her head lowered even further.

I was stand once again.Did she had just asked to be a part of this coven?My coven?

Noone spoke so she looked up and made eye contact with me.

Our gazes locked when she whispered to..to me?

''Please! I never met a mother or a father''she turned to Edward and back at me.

''and you..you seem to be a great one.Please,you won't regrett it.''

Why,oh why she had to say these things to me?How could I say no,even if I had to.?

Renesmee caught my eye then.No I could not put her in danger again.

We had barely escaped from the Volturi and Lucaria seemed as ''dangerous'' as Nessie appeared to them.

Could we take that risk?If such a creature existed,I am sure that Aro would want it by his side.

A replacement for Renesmee,or even something more valuable...

But definitely a threat... to our world.Fear of exposure,fear of power greater than the one the Volturi had and Lucaria probably had would destroy us.

But how could anyone reject those blue-red piercing eyes that were sported by an angelic face?

I had to make a difficult decision,we all had.And I had take it.

I stepped forward startling the silent room.

''I made up my mind''I said and my voice sounded strong and powerful,but that was not the case for my aching heart.
