The Twilight Saga :The Violet Hour

Chapter 7

''Renesmee will be up soon''Edward broke our comfy silence after many hours. 

''Yes,and we need to get ready for university...''I trailed off thinking about the things I have to do before leaving for Dartmouth. 

''Um,don't fret honey.We don't have to attend today''He replied with a knowing smile that I couldn't exactly place. 

He probably saw the confusion in my face,because he went on. 

''Happy Valentine's Day,my love''and with that he bend his head and kissed me fully on the lips,so sweet that my unbeating heart started to melt. 

''Yes,you too.But what's that has to do with university?''and then I recalled that I still was waiting to see my surprise. 

Apparently my thoughts were clear on my face,because Edward chuckled and pulled me off the bed. 

We got ready in a blur,in comfortable cloths yet it was all pink and red due to f Alice's obsession. 

Edward had of course escaped that bit and Alice,to my surprise,had agreed that wearing red tight jeans and a blouse with the ''Be my Valentine''tag printed in the back,would not be good for him,so I was the only one that had to endure. 

After I dressed,a now very exuberant Renesmee,we headed to the main house. 

Everybody was there. 

Rose and Emmet had decided to take a year of school.Pretending it was their gap year,in case any of the Fork's people was curious. 

Alice and Jasper did the same.Jasper of course was supposed to be a year older than Alice,so he decided to get a job,as a karate teacher.Apparently,he already owned the black. 

And it was the one thing he loved the best and now that his thirst  was finally under control he could make the young boys and girls of Forks,champs! 

Alice on the other hand was supposed to attend university with us,but then Renesmee,had to be taught so she eagerly gave up Dartmouth,for a wile. 

Jake was a senior now,at the Reservation. 

We all sat at in the kitchen as the human and the half-human ate breakfast. 

We all chatted happily.Everyone seemed to have romantic plans for the day, even Carlisle and Esmee. 

It was when I was talking to Alice, that Renesmee addressed me. 

''Momma,I forgot to ask you this morning''she said in concern. 

''What is it babe?''I asked distracted. 

''Why you were screaming Daddy's name last night?''she asked. 

Dead silence fell in the room,and everybody turned to look at me as if  I had grown a second head. 

I needed Benjamin just then to open up the floor so that it could swallow me. 

If I was still human,I would have been more red that blood. 

After three whole minutes,Emmet's hysteric laughter echoed in the whole house.Soon enough everybody apart from a still very confused Nessie,joined in. 

I wanted to die from embarrassment. 

''You...You...were..screaming ....his...name?''Emmet managed to choke out,in between laughter fits. 

Edward then sobered up and moved so he was now standing beside me. 

''I doubt he... he ..was any good,but..you..you seem to think the opposite Bella''Emmet went on. 

My embarrassment was now long gone,and anger had took its place.How dare he speak like that in front of my really young daughter!
