"Kailangan ba talaga natin 'to gawin?" Santana asked.
"Just do it!"
"Oo na, ito na nga!" she said before typing Bailey's name sa search bar.
"Anong sabi sa profile niya?" I asked.
"Alin ba dito 'yung totoong account niya?" she asked back kaya my forehead creased. Lumapit ako and scrolled down myself and saw the many dummy accounts!
"What—bakit may Samahan ng mga Asawa ni Bailey Ceralde?"
May fansclub na rin siya?! No way!
"Ito yata 'yung totoo, Debbie," she said. Clinick niya iyong profile and then scrolled down. "Ano bang exactly hahanapin natin?"
"Basta. Proceed," I said. I was looking carefully nang biglang—
"Uy, Debbie! Anong ginagawa niyo dito?"
I panicked when I saw Bailey enter the library na bigla ko nalang napindot 'yung off sa monitor ng PC. Napa-tayo kami ni Santana. Grabe, that was so close!
"Ha? Uh... nothing," I replied. "Ikaw, why are you here?"
"Manghihiram ng book?" he said.
I nodded. "Whatever," I said. "Let's go na, Santana."
I'm not done yet. Mahahanapan rin kita ng baho. I'll regain my fame in this school once and for all. And you, Bailey Ceralde, will be found dead in a ditch.
Magiging relevant rin ako ulit!
We went back na agad sa canteen dahil ang paalam lang namin kay Val when we left her there alone ay magsi-CR lang kami. Malapit na mag-time kaya we were finishing our food na nang may two students na nag-approach sa amin.
"Uhm... You guys need anything?"
"Kayo po ba si Ate Debbie at Ate Valerie?" the boy asked.
"Oo kami nga 'yun. Bakit, beh?"
They giggled to each other. "Hala, ako po pala Himig, tapos ito pong mataba ay si Rockie," the girl replied kaya sinamaan siya ng tingin nung lalaki.
"Gusto po sana namin sumali sa partido niyo."
"Sure, why not?" sabi ni Val. "Anong grade na ba kayo?"
"Ako po grade 7 palang kasi tinigdas po ako dati kaya nag-stop ako pero matalino naman po ako, tapos siya po grade 8 na pero ambobo parin," Rockie said.
Napa-mura si Val. We were laughing so hard! Di ko sila kinakaya!
"Okay," natatawang sabi ni Valerie. "Open pa naman kami sa representative."
"Gusto ko po sana mag-treasurer," Himig said. "Siya po gusto mag-PIO."
"Uh... May treasurer at PIO na kasi kami, mga beh," Valerie said. Bigla silang nag-frown dalawa kaya parang na-guilty ako!
"Uy, that's okay lang..."
"Oo nga," Val said. "Marami pa naman kayong taon dito sa school. Grade 7 at 8 palang kayo, diba? Pwede naman sa higher positions next year pero sa ngayon, mag-rep muna kayo."
"Pero baka 'di po kami iboto ng mga ka-grade namin," Rockie said.
"All the more reason to start sa representative, right? Like, kuha muna kayo ng experience, ganun, so your batchmates would trust you," I said.
"Tama 'yan, sis ko," Val said. "Build your name muna, ika nga nila. Tapos kung manalo, maging active lang kayo para mas makilala pa kayo. True?"
Himig smiled. "Hmmm... pag-iisipan po muna namin."
