So what if may beef kami ng friends ko and I fell asleep last night listening to a sad playlist? I have a lot of friends pa naman! Akala ba nila they're a kawalan to me? Ugh, as if!

"Hey, Violet! Can we share a seat?" I asked while holding my baon and hydro flask.

Santana was sitting with the cheerleaders. I didn't belong there.

"Uh..." Violet trailed off.

"Friends naman tayo, right?" I said. We exchanged glances for a couple of seconds. "Fine. Let's act like I didn't help you get followers!"

I sighed, rolling my eyes. Nag-hanap pa ako ng ibang vacant table sa canteen. I can't eat sa classroom. Everyone would know na may feud kami ng squad ko!

I approached my other friends.

"Uy, Andrea! Tabi tayo, ah?" I said sabay upo beside her so she can't make tanggi na. "Uy, anong food mo? Wanna share?"

"Uhm..." she said. "Naka-upo kasi diyan yung kaibigan ko, Debbie. Nag-CR lang saglit."

"Oh... yeah..." was the only thing I was able to mutter.

"Ayan na pala siya," she said, pointing to a girl. "Bakit 'di ka dun sa mga kaibigan mo?"

I opened my mouth and stuttered a bit. "Uh... I know, right? Sure, I'll just eat with them nalang. Bye, girls!"

I bit my lip pagtayo ko. It's their loss, not mine!

Gosh! The recess time was running out already pero hindi pa ako naka-kain nang maayos.

I scanned the canteen from the door and figured na wala talagang gustong umupo with me.

"Ugh, kairita!" I grunted. Pagsi-sisihan nila 'to someday!

The next thing I knew, nasa CR na ako at binababa 'yung cover ng toilet. Muntik na ako mag-puke! I sat down and ate my sugar-free granola bar.

"This is so not queen bee-like," I murmured.

I finished my food and flushed the toilet so the other people would think na I just peed.

Duh! Walang queen bee na kumakain mag-isa, let alone sa CR!

I stood up and dusted off my skirt. Huminga ako nang malalim before I came out of the cubicle. Pagbalik ko sa classroom, I was just in time for the next subject.

"Since we've finished our discussion already, you will now have your next activity. This time, you're going to work in partners," Sir Bartolome said. "You're free to choose who you want to work with."

Everyone started to switch seats to sit next to their partners.

I stood by the door because someone took my seat already. I looked around and almost all of them ay may partner na.

Tumingin ako kay Santana. She was already with Claire.

Nagka-tinginan kami but she just gave me a nod. I sighed.

Dati, we'll just glance at each other and we already know it meant we're partners. Now... it sucks!

"Debbie, may partner ka na ba?" Nate suddenly asked.

"Of course! Me? Walang partner? Duh!" I blatantly lied.

"Okay, class," Sir Bartolome mentioned. "Sino pa pong walang ka-partner?"

Nate raised his hand. I already sat down kaya Sir's forehead creased. Gosh, lying has never been this intense!

"How come? Wala namang absent today. Everyone should have a partner," sabi ni sir. "Wait, let me see kung sino ang mag-partners. Stand by, Nate."
