I studied for the exams. The graduating students will take the tests earlier than the rest so I used it to busy myself and divert my attention. So much was happening—baka hindi ko na kayanin if I let myself drown in sadness. I wasn't the biggest fan of God, but last night, I spent almost half an hour on my knees, just praying. I needed to stay strong. Hinihintay pa ako ng UP.

Pina-arrange ko na yung chairs one seat apart pag-enter ko ng room. I was still the Class President and as much as possible, I don't want them na may masabi pa. At least, not now that I don't have my squad to back me up... I know naman that I was never enough for them, but I won't let my vulnerabilities come off as weakness.

"Debbie."

Tumingin ako sa tumawag ng name ko. It was Nate. I raised an eyebrow. "What?" I asked.

"S-Sorry ulit dun sa nangyari nung isang araw," he said. He lowered his head and raised a Choco Mucho. "Ito, oh... Peace offering. Sorry ulit..."

I stared at it for a few seconds.

"I can't eat sweets. Sayo na 'yan," I said before I went back to reviewing my notes.

Sa division office galing 'yung questionnaires para sa finals namin so I definitely needed to work my ass off. Sometimes, nashu-shook nalang kami sa contents ng exam.

I closed my big notebook nang pumasok si Mrs. Ocampo. Nag-morning prayer lang kami and then pinasa na 'yung questionnaires. I brought out one piece of lengthwise and 'yung .25 kong G-Tec.

"Ito na ang final exam ng buong high school life niyo kaya galingan! Let's go, mga anak!" sabi ni Mrs. Ocampo tapos nag-start na kami with the first test.

I was busy answering my test nang biglang may mag-lagay ng Nips and Choko-choko sa desk ko. Aww... I looked up and said thanks to Mrs. Ocampo.

I have to admit, kating-kati na ako to leave this school but teachers like her really make it hard for me!

"Uy, bilisan mo," bulong ng katabi ko.

"Wait, andyan pa si Ma'am!"

"Pasa mo na dali!"

My forehead creased. I looked at where the noise was coming from and saw Lloyd and Ethan na nagsa-sign language behind their folders.

"Shh!" sabi ko with my eyebrow raised.

They returned their gazes on their exam kaya I did the same, too. I was answering my test nang may marinig ulit akong bulungan within my parameters.

"Boy, pahiram nga 'ko correction," Ethan said.

Nakita kong pinasa ni Lloyd yung correction tape niya to Ethan with his fist clenched tightly.

Are they... Kinutuban na ako but I shrugged it off. Impossible. Graduating na kami. I don't think ngayon pa nila maiisip gumawa ng kalokohan.

"Ay, tanga!" Ethan whispered kaya napa-tingin ulit ako.

What the hell...?

I watched as Lloyd make pulot the small piece of paper na nahulog nung inaabot ni Ethan 'yung correction tape niya. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. Hindi ako maka-paniwala kaya hindi ko sila agad ni-call out.

Pero baka super judgmental ko lang.

Baka 'di naman cheat sheet 'yun...

So I proceeded with my test as I should.

Hindi naman ako super linis. I wouldn't deny that I've never cheated in my life. Kasi complete ba talaga 'yung student life mo kung 'di ka nag-cheat? Eme! But still... that happened once or twice tops only. Plus, it's not on a test this major-major! Nung nag-ST si Val lang ako nagche-cheat...
