12: What Did You Wish For?

In the car still writing this. Our car broke down at a gas station so we were there for an extra hour. It's been 6 so far. We should've been home by now. 2 more hours to go, please kill me.

Ranboo turned me around and walked away slowly while still holding my hand. The guy gave up and stayed behind us. But I didn't look back.

"Are you ok?" Ranboo asked squeezing my hand. I nodded.

"Holy shit Ranboob." I said still shocked.

"What?" Ranboo asked confused.

"Thank you." I said looking up. Ranboo smiled.

"No problem, I didn't know what that guy was up to. I didn't want to take any chances." He said. I nodded.

"You saved me back there." I laughed in hysteria. Ranboo smiled.

"No problem again. Remember pain is temporary but swag is forever." Said Ranboo quoting me. I laughed.

I realized we were stuck hiding each other's hands. Our hands were eloped with each other. I was bright red, and the sun had started to go down. It was about 7:00 pm, but it was mid December so it was cold already.

We walked through the streets.

"Look it's Lin Manual Miranda." I said pointing to a star with the famous musical artist's name.

"Isn't that the guy who made Hamilton?" Asked Ranboo. I nodded, I swung Ranboo's arm, he noticed we were holding hands too.

"Oh I'm sorry." Ranboo said letting go of my hand. I grabbed his hand again, eloping our fingers once again. He looked at me, with his face bright red.

I was blushing too. But I shook it off and figured it was the cold.

"Do you want to get hot cocoa and sit by the fountain?" I asked changing the subject. I pointed to a cafe and a fountain, was lighting up. And a lot of couples were sitting there chatting and laughing.

"Sure." Ranboo said following me into the café. I ordered two hot cocoas, and Ranboo payed. After insisting.

We walked out, still holding hands to sit by the fountain.

"Are you cold?" Asked Ranboo. I shook my head, despite me being freezing.

"Here." Ranboo said taking off his jacket to wrap it around me. It was very big on me. It reach to about my knees, and the sleeves were long too.

"Hahaha, you're so tiny." Said Ranboo laughing. I glared at him.

"No you're just too big." I said sternly. Ranboo laughed.

"Here sit." Said Ranboo pulling up a chat for me to sit. I thanked Ranboo and sat down.

I blew on the steaming hot cocoa, it was really cold despite I was borrowing Ranboo's sweater. My face was hot and my nose was red.

"You still look cold are you alright?" Asked Ranboo. I nodded.

"Yeah I'm fine. My nose gets really red when it's even slightly cold." I said. Ranboo nodded.

"If you want after this we can leave. It's getting dark already and I don't want to keep your mom worried." Said Ranboo. I nodded.

"We can leave after this." I said, Ranboo nodded.

"Want to throw a penny in the fountain?" I asked, I  put up two pennys. Ranboo took a sip of his cocoa and nodded.

I got up and pressed the cold penny into his hand.

He threw it in. I threw it in after. I don't know what to wish for.

I wish for the thing I need the most.

It was cliche but I didn't know what to do. I looked at Ranboo.

"What did you wish for?" I asked.

"Can't tell you, or it won't come true." He said. I looked at him suspiciously.

"Mhm, I would've told you mine." I teased Ranboo laughed.

"You won't get me with that bait." Ranboo said, I laughed.

"Alright Mr. Boo, we should get home." I said. Ranboo nodded.

"Should we take the birdie?" Asked Ranboo, I shook my head.

"No, I'm tired. We should take a Uber." I said. Ranboo nodded, I opened the app and ordered one. Luckily we finished our cocoa before the Uber came.

I climbed in the car in the back with Ranboo. I gave the driver a quick nod.

The car ride was uneventful. Except for my hands getting really cold, so Ranboo held them to keep them warm. Which made me blush when I thought about it.

The car dropped us off at Ranboo's house. I got my stuff, and Ranboo walked me to my home.

We made it to my front door in no time.

"Thank you." I said as we stopped at my doorstep.

"No, thank you. I had a great time." He said. I smiled.

"Thanks Mr. Boo again." I said. I picked up the black and white cat and booped Ranboo's nose with it. He laughed and did the same to me.

"Alright, I'll catch you later." Said Ranboo. I nodded, but before Ranboo left I gave him a quick hug.

"Cya Ranboob." I said before waving good bye and walking into my house.

The house was surprisingly empty, but I remembered my mom had work today. I felon bad for forgetting to come over and get some bread.

But I'd be there tomorrow.

I set down my stuff in the counter. I took off my shoes and slowly walked usptaurs.

I plopped on my bed, I checked my phone.

'@Ranboosaysstuff has followed you back!'

I put down my phone and quickly changed into some comfortable clothes. Before putting my phone in to charge and falling fast asleep. But not before tucking the cat plushie in my embrace.

That boo boy is going to be the end of me.

I ran upstairs to get some shut eye for the next day. But I couldn't help but think about Y/n.

I blushed to myself, and buried my head and in my pillow. I noticed the cat Y/n had given me and grabbed it.

I didn't want to admit it. But maybe I liked her.

But it didn't take long for me to fall asleep.
