16: Princess and The Frog

I sat occupied while watching the movie. I watched as the Little Mermaid sang to the Prince on the shore.

I beamed as the songs played. Ranboo smiled as I gasped at how beautiful she sounded.

Ranboo grabbed my hand, I took my attention off the screen to squeeze Ranboo's hand.  Ranboo smiled at me softly and turned to the screen once again.

After the movie finished I was beaming with happiness. Ranboo laughed at my excitement.

I forgot we were holding hands, but this time I didn't let go.

"What else do you want to watch?" Asked Ranboo as he went back to the menu to look for another movie.

"You choose, I chose this one." I said, Ranboo nodded. He scrolled down to watch the Princess and The Frog.

"I like this movie too." I said. Ranboo nodded.

"It's great." He said. I nodded and watched as the movie slowly started.

After the movie I was growing very tired, the lights were shut off since we wanted the real movie experience.

But Ranboo had fallen asleep. I decided to do my homework while he slept soundly, and when he woke up I would give him the answers.

I had already done a good portion of the work, and history was the only class that gave homework so I didn't really have much to do.

Half way through my work I heard Ranboo shuffle a bit, he moved and slightly inched closer to me. And I blushed as he slowly rested his head on my shoulder. I blushed but tried to sway my mind by turning my attention back to my homework. 

But I didn't want to move my arm, because Ranboo was sleeping on my dominant shoulder. I slowly moved the paper from my lap and tossed it to the side of me. I didn't know what to do so I took out my phone to check my notifications.

I had one notification from my mom, it read.  "I'll be home later tonight. If you are at your friend's house you can stay there. Love you." I smiled lightly at the end sentence, and quickly wrote back.

"I'm at a friend's home, I'll see you tomorrow!! Love you too Ama." clicked 'send' and scrolled through the rest of my notifications.

I saw another text from Melissa. "Hi, I saw you were a bit down earlier, are you ok?" she asked, I had forgotten about earlier by now. I typed up a quick reply.

"Yeah, it was just something came up. But thanks!! :]" I sent it and quickly got a reply. "Great, if you need anything just call me. Love you!!" I read the text. "Will do, Love you too!!" I sent it.

I realized I was blushing, I shook it off and turned towards Ranboo. Who was still sleeping, I could hear his faint breathing behind the cheerful songs of Princess and The Frog. I leaned my head back while turning off my phone. 

I leaned my head on Ranboo's head, I scooted closer to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. I watched the remaining of the movie with Ranboo in my arms, and slowly fell asleep.

Ranboo's POV

I woke up slowly to fell a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I realized it was Y/n, who was sound asleep. I panicked and tried my best not to move, in order to not awake her. She started to shuffle, we were still sitting up right. She let go of my waist and stretched to lay down, but grabbed my arm and pulled me down with her. In shock I tried to catch myself but ended up somehow in Y/n's arms. 

She was holding me in her arms, I was blushing like crazy. I didn't know what to do so I just gave in and wrapped my arms around her. I could feel her soft hot breath hit my skin, and he warm body wrapped around me made me feel... comforted?? 

I had been conflicted rather I liked Y/n or not since I've met her. She had been a really pleasant person to talk to and be around, and I'd get this warm feeling in my stomach. Did I like her?? Am I delusional? Well yeah I am, but I don't think this was me fooling myself. 

Maybe I did actually have feelings for Y/n. I mean who wouldn't, she was pretty, and kind, and funny. Not to mention talented. No no no, we are meant to be friends, but I can't help but..... I'll wait for her to make the first move. 

I sighed and closed my eyes.

Y/n's POV

I was dreaming, I think? But it was me and Ranboo, we were sitting on his bed. We were both watching a movie, I quickly glanced at Ranboo, to which Ranboo caught my eyes. I felt my heart pound and my breath tighten. 

"I've been meaning to ask you something." Ranboo said practically holding his breath. I nodded eagerly wanting to know what he was going to say. I anxiously waited as Ranboo held in his breath before telling me.

"I like y-" I cut him off by kissing Ranboo quickly. He looked at me in total shock. I was blushing and as it appeared so was Ranboo. 

"I like you too." I said blushing. Ranboo smiled sweetly and leaned in to kiss me. 

Our faces inched closer. And I stared into his beautifully multicolored eyes. I could practically hear my heart beating out of my chest, I could feel Ranboo's faint breath on my face. Our faces were near to touching, and out lips were near close to touching.

I woke up in a panic, I was holding Ranboo in my arms and freaked out. Ranboo noticed and slowly opened his eyes. I unwrapped my arms around Ranboo, I quickly remembered my dream and covered my face in emberessment.

"OH GOD I'M SORRY"
