33: What's On Your Mind?

AYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Ok so Im bored and home alone so we are going to be writing a chapter because It's summer and I have no friends.

And I just painted my nails, hopefully I dont get nail polish all over my keyboard 0-0.

I nuzzled my head in the crook of his neck.

After a while I sat up and ruffled Ranboo's hair. He laughed and sat up with me.

"Are you done being sleepy?" He said, kissing my forehead. I chuckled and nodded.

I looked over to my guitar, and I looked back over to Ranboo.

"What are you looking at?" he asked concerned, I shook out of it.

"Oh nothing." I said kissing his cheek, he chuckled and kissed my cheek back.

"Hey, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. But what's on your mind?" He said grabbing my hand, I inhaled sharply. I didn't know how to respond.

"I-..." I caught my tounge, I promised I wouldn't rope Ranboo into this.

"Haha!! What about that piano song you wanted me to play?" I said slowly getting up, Ranboo still held my hand.

"Hey, whatever is going on you can tell me." He said, I chuckled. I cupped both of my hands on his face and kissed him.

"Don't worry about it." I said, Ranboo sighed.

"Ok." He said with a hint of dissapointment and concern in his voice.

I walked over to my keyboard and turned it on. I set it on my lap and made sure it was on by pressing one of the keys.

"I can play Moonlight Sonata." I said proudly, I remembered when I was little I learned the first chorus of the song and would boast to my mom that I could play it. But later in life I figured out how to play the entirety of the first movement.

I took a deep breath in and pressed my fingers down on the keyboard, slowly forming the melodic melodies of the  famous Moonlight Sonata that I played on loop when I first heard the keys being lightly pressed.

I stared at the keys as I mimicked the song as best as I could.

After I reached to half of the first movement I slowly improvised to create a soft ending for the 8 minute piece.

I looked up as the classical piece came to an end. I saw Ranboo still in awe.

"How do you do that?!!" He said, I blushed. I put the piano back and went to sit back next to Ranboo.

"I'm just amazing." I said proudly, Ranboo laughed and kissed my nose.

"HHAHA ok, but you're not wrong." Ranboo said. I laughed and cuddled him again.

"I would tickle you but I'm too tired." I said, Ranboo chuckled and cuddled me back.

"Why are you tired. It's only 4:49." Ranboo said grabbing his phone to check the time. I groaned and hugged him tighter.

"S L E E P." I said, Ranboo burst out laughing. "Ok." He said.

I threw myself on the bed, taking Ranboo down with me. He laughed as I snuggled up to him, enveloping myself in the warmth of his jacket.

I closed my eyes and clung on to Ranboo, he kissed the top of my head and rested his head on top of mine.

I closed my eyes and unintentionally fell asleep.

I woke up to Ranboo still alseep. I pulled out my phone to watch some tiktoks or any form of entertainment, until Ranboo woke up.

I noticed the time, it read 6:00 pm. Did we really take a nap for 2 hours??

After scrolling through tiktok I grabbed my head phones that were on my nightstand. I plugged them in and played one of my favorite songs "As The World Caves In" by Matt Maltese.

My feet are aching,

And your back is pretty tired.

And we drunk a couple bottle bent,

And set our greif aside.

The paper says its dooms day,

The button has been pressed.

We're going to nuke eachother up boy,

Until satin stands impressed.

And here it is...

Our final night alive...

And as the earth burns to the ground,

As the atom bomb locks in.

As  the world...

As the world caves in...

I heard a groan and I lowered the song, Ranboo saw me with my headphones awake and kissed my cheek.

"What time is it?" He said, I opened the time to look at the time.

"It's 6:12." I said, Ranboo sat up in a hurry.

"I have to go stream!" he said, I laughed.

"Do you want me to walk you to your house? Its pretty cold." I said, my room had been really cold which was why I kept clinging on to Ranboo.

"Sure. If it's not too much of a hassle." He said sitting up and fixing his hair. I shook my head with a smile.

"No problem." I said sitting up.

Me and Ranboo both walked downstairs. I didn't see my mom so I figured she was in her room watching TV or at the bakery.

We walked out the door and began to walk towards Ranboo's house.

"Hey you never answered my question earlier." Ranboo said, I sighed and grabbed his hand. I walked in front of him still holding his hand, walking backwards.

"I've got it under control, I'll tell you when I'm ready." I said, Ranboo nodded in agreement.

"What ever makes you happy." Ranboo said with a smile. I smiled and walked back to Ranboo's side, still holding his hand.

The wind began to pick up, making me shiver. But I figured it was going to rain too, so we both picked up the pace. Soon enough we made it to Ranboo's house.

"You have fun, I'll tune in some time." I said, Ranboo knelt down to kiss the top of my head.

"Love you, I'll see you in chat." He said, I laughed and waved good bye.

"Love you too." I said as he closed the door.

I walked silently towards my home. I put up my hood as I felt the drizzle of the rain softly hit my cheeks, and the breeze slowly pick up. I tried to walk faster but by the time i got ot my house i was drenched. I ran up to my room to dry, I turned on my heater and took off my clothes. I grabbed the hoodie Ranboo lent me and wore that with a dry pair of shorts.

I ploppled on my bed and waited for Ranboo to go live.
