11: Pain is Temporary, but Swag is Forever

Yoooo I've been in the car listening to mariachi music for 3 hours. And we had traffic so I won't be home for another 5 hours. Instead of just 6. Anyway I'm dying and I want to jump out the window now.

I parked the birdie by a streetlight, perched next to a couple others. We had both decided to walk down the streets and find maybe some cool shops that sold keychains and plushies.

"Mr. Boo, you are very tall. You stand out." I pointed out. Ranboo bent his knees.

"Is this better?" He asked. I laughed, it did not make it better.

"No, but it's alright. Just watch your head." I said. Ranboo nodded.

"Look, they sell plushies." I said pointing to a cute store, inside they had cat plushies and various different pens and keychains.

"I like this one." Said Ranboo pointing to a cat, it's fur was half black and half white.

"Ohh, it's cute." I said picking up the plush. It was about the size of my head, I handed it to Ranboo.

"Look at this one." I said pointing it a F/c (favorite color) cat, it looked the same as Ranboo's but in my favorite color. I picked it up.

"This ones nice." He said. I nodded. I opened my wallet and payed for both Ranboo's and mine.

"I can pay for mine." Said Ranboo peeking over my shoulder as I handed the cashier my card. I shook my head.

"It's alright." I said, Ranboo shook his head and handed the cashier his card. I reluctantly let him pay for his.

"You could've let me pay." I said as we walked out the store. Ranboo shook his head.

"No because I wanted to give it to you." He said. I felt my face turn bright red.

"Awww." I said holding the black and white cat. I handed him mine. While also trying to cover my bright red face. Ranboo hesitated in taking the cat.

"Thank you." He said holding the F/c cat. I nodded and smiled at Ranboo. To which he returned.

I cuddled the plushie to my chest as we walked past around the stores.

"Ranboo do you like to wear jewelry?" I asked. Ranboo nodded and lifted his head to reveal that we was wearing a necklace. How did I never notice.

"I love wearing rings and necklaces." Said Ranboo, I lit up and grabbed his hand.

I pulled him into a jewelry shop I saw. I marveled at the different rings and jewelry that glittered the walls and shelves.

"Let's get matching necklaces." I said as I looked at the pretty jewelry. It was cheap too.

"I like this one." Said Ranboo pointing to a necklace with a pendent at the end of it. There was a black one and white one. It had a black lace, and it was very pretty.

"Same." I said pulling out my wallet. Ranboo offered to pay for it but I politely refused.

"Which one you want?" I asked, Ranboo pointed to the white one. He bent down so I could put the necklace on him.

"You look very swag." I said, Ranboo laughed.

"When have I never been swag." Said Ranboo, he had a point.

"True." I said. I handed Ranboo the black pendant so he could put it on me.

I turned around, Ranboo moved my hair out the way. Softly brushing my neck, which sent a warm feeling down my spine.

He tied it, I never realized how warm Ranboo's hands were. I turned back around after he finished tying the necklace.

I admired the two pretty necklaces.

"Now we both are swag." Ranboo said. I nodded.

"We got the puss and the swag." I said. Ranboo face palmed.

"Don't phrase it like that." He said laughing. I chuckled.

"Remember Ranboo, pain is temporary, but swag is forever." I said, Ranboo laughed.

"You're not wrong." I said chuckling.

We walked around for a while before we stopped by a shop. This one had cat ears. (I was trying to convince Ranboo to buy some.) But he refused to go inside.

"Ranboo!!" I said trying to pull him in. He crossed his arms and turned around.

"I'm not going in. I know you are going to make me wear them." He said. I spotted a white and black pair of cat ears. I showed them to Ranboo.

He glared at me as I handed him the cat ears.

"No." He said blatantly. I pouted.

"Pleaseeeeee." I said. Ranboo sighed and put them on. I laughed and snapped a quick photo.

"I love this photo now." I said. Ranboo laughed.

"I'm never doing that again." He said. I laughed and we slowly walked out the store.

I noticed some shady guy walking from behind us though.

He was wearing a dark gray hoodie. And some black pants. I couldn't make out his face but I knew he had no good intent, at least I figure he didn't.

"Ranboo." I mumbled, I nudged him to catch his attention. Which luckily worked.

"Mhm?" He said. I made a head movement that someone behind us was following us.

"He's been following us for a while." I whispered, Ranboo looked concerned. He looked behind us for a split second, and turned back to me to nod.

"Alright stay close." Said Ranboo. I nodded. We slowly picked up the pace. But so did the guy.

We walked toward a crowd. But the guy grabbed my arm. I freaked out and so did Ranboo.

"Hi, you're really cute can I get your number?" Asked the guy, problem was he was much older than me. Probably in his 20's.

"Uh..." I said nervously. But Ranboo stood in front of me. Blocking my view of the shady guy.

"Sorry she's with me." He said, the guy rolled his eyes.

"So? You'll be out of the picture soon." He said. Ranboo grabbed my hand and turned me around. My face was blushing, but I was still in shock. Ranboo started to walk, but not before whipping his head around to say...

"We'll see about that."
