19: I Need to Tell You Something

Time skip because I don't want this book to be 100 chapter long.

2 days later.

I got up to the buzzing of my phone alarm, it was a Wednesday morning. I rubbed my tired eyes and opened my phone.

"OH SHIT" I was going to be late. I quickly grabbed a hoodie and a pair of jeans. I ran downstairs with my pair of shoes in my hand, and quickly greeted my mom.

"Hola mih-" I cut her off by kissing her cheek and grabbing a concha from the table. I threw it into my mouth and struggled to put on my shoes. I jumped as I waved goodbye at my mom and quickly ran out the door.

I ran towards my school full speed. I quickly tried to eat my bread as fast as I could.

I finally made it and ran towards Ranboo. He waved nervously as I stopped in my tracks to take a break.

"Hello- Ran...Boo. I'm- sorry.... I woke up.. late." I said panting, Ranboo laughing.

"Are you ok?" He asked, I nodded.

"Yeah, I just need to catch my breath." I said still wheezing with my hands on my knees.

"You're wearing my hoodie." said Ranboo pointing to my hoodie. I looked down to the black and white hoodie.

"Oh shit, sorry." I said, Ranboo shook his head.

"It's alright you're fine, you can keep it." Ranboo said sweetly. A guy came from behind Ranboo.

"OOOOOOoooooOOOOooo." He said slyly. I raised an eye brow wondering who this guy was. He was a black haired boy with glistening black pearly eyes. He was wearing a black jacket and baggy black pants to match.

"Uhh.. who are you?" I asked confused. Ranboo sighed.

"This is Lino, we call him birdie." He said, I waved awkwardly at the boy who was flipping his messy black hair from his face.

"Why do they call you birdie?" I asked. Ranboo shrugged.

"Oh it's because I stole a bucket of birdies from an athletics store." He said. I started laughing.

"HAHAHA NO WAY REALLY??" I said laughing. He nodded proudly.

"But are you two dating?" Asked Birdie. I stopped my sentence in shock.

"I- I- no." I said quickly, me and Ranboo hesitated on an answer.

I looked at Ranboo, who looked uncomfortable.

"I don't believe you. You two are definitely dating." Said once again flipping his hair from his face.

"Oh piss off, believe or not we aren't dating." I said in a hurry. Birdie raised an eyebrow at me.

"Mhm, whatever you say. But anyway I got to go." He said waving before rubbing towards a group of guys.

"That was way to close." I said. Ranboo nodded.

"Hi!!" Said Melissa, she was walking towards us while waving. I waved back.

"Hi hi." I said returning the wave. Ranboo waved too.

"What you two doing?" Asked Melissa innocently. I shrugged.

"Not sure, you have math next right?" I asked, Melissa nodded.

"Pog." I said, I had been catching on to Ranboo's tendencies. As well as watching a lot of his streams lately.

"Oh I don't have math with you." Ranboo said sadly. I nodded.

"Don't worry Mr. Boo I'll catch you on the flip side." I said saluting and clicking my tongue, and just on que the bell rang. 

"See ya!" Ranboo said before waving and walking off to his class. I walked with Melissa.

"Are you two dating?" Asked Melissa shyly.

"NO WHY DOES EVERYONE- no we are not." I quickly lied in a panic. Melissa softly giggled.

"Sorry, you guys just seem very close." Melissa said softly.

"Well we hang out a lot, but so do you and me." I said, Melissa nodded.

"Oh and I was wondering if you wanted to come over today?" Asked Melissa, I nodded.

"I'd love that!!" I said as we both walked into math class and sat at our designated seats.

School was once again usually uneventful. Me and Ranboo chatted for a bit rather we should tell Melissa we were dating. And we came to an agreement to wait a bit before telling anyone.

I was at Melissa's house. Ranboo said it was fine and I could always come over later.

I sat on Melissa's mint colored bed sheets as I worked on my homework for the day.

"Can you help me with 3?" Asked Melissa shyly. I nodded and quickly pointed to the answer. She nodded.

"Thank you." She said, I smiled sweetly.

"No problem." I said.

Melissa put down her book to the side of her, and went to face me. I was confused and out my book down as well.

"Hey Y/n." Said Melissa meekly. I sat criss crossed, I was ready to listen to anything.

"Mhm?" I asked moving the hair from my face. Melissa unglazed sharply and shut her eyes before letting out a breath.

"I need to tell you something. I like you." Mumbled Melissa. I was in totally shock. My best friend for 6 years liked me.

And she didn't know I was taken..

I hesitated to say anything and stumbled on my words.

"I- I-." Melissa looked at me with a flushed face and a she was twiddling with her fingers.

"Melis-." Before I could say anything she kissed me.

And sorry for short chapter. I wanted a good cliff hanger.
