Bradley sat on the small chair overlooking the cliff. The view was amazing, the bright blue green water in front of him crashing against the large rocks below.

He was shirtless, letting the sun hit his body. He wanted to feel warmth, but it wasn't the warmth that he expected. He turned to his left and took another chug of his whisky, loving the sound of the ice against the cup. It was relaxing.

He was alone. Well almost.

Evil Brad sat next to him in silence, not saying a word. Bradley knew he was crazy. This confirmed it.

But he didn't care. It was comforting having him there for the moment.

"I've decided to let her go," Bradley said. He knew it was safe to talk. Cora didn't know where he had gone off to. She was with her cousins and that stupid brother of hers. He didn't want to be apart of that. He had come here for what? To get away?

He didn't know.

Evil Bradley didn't say anything. It was weird. He always had something to say, but lately he just seemed to float around, following Bradley from the shadows.

"She's better off without me, and I think Cora brings out the best in me, no?" he said again. He chuckled.

That had been true. He had wanted to be better because of her. She had made him come out of his depression, even if it was only for a while.

"It's only a matter of time she'll find out how broken I am and leave me too," Bradley said, sighing.

"You have to stop feeling sorry for yourself." Evil Brad said, catching him by surprise. "You shouldn't have to stoop so low."

Bradley turned to look at himself. He was polished, clean cut. An old version of himself that he was desperately trying to get back to.

"I don't know what I want anymore, I thought I had everything, I thought everything was going my way again, but I fuck everything up."

"You're on vacation with one of the beautifulest woman you've met, I don't think you've fucked up anything," Evil Brad said, laying down on the grass. "It's a win in my book."

Bradley rolled his eyes. "You know me better than I know myself, because you are me. You can't possibly believe that."

Evil Brad smirked. "True, but it's fun seeing you try to figure it out."

Bradley took another sip. He needed someone to talk to, not this figment of his imagination.

But was he really? Mocha could see Evil Bradley too.

He was too tired to worry about it now.

Cora took a seat next to Bradley, her parents watching her every move. They had liked Bradley, and she knew that they wanted to know where their relationship was going. He had never asked her out front to be his girlfriend, but would he?

"Thank you again for the invitation," Bradley said respectfully.

"Nonsense, a man of your upbringing is always welcomed to date my daughter," her father said. She felt her face go red. She saw her two brother's scowl as they picked at their dinner.

"Dad," she said, "Let's just eat."

"So, Bradley, you've been here a week now, what do you think of our home?" her mother asked. She had long black hair just like Cora, with bright green eyes.
