*Hey guys, sorry for the long wait time on the update. I've had a rough month, with a cousin passing away, and getting extremely sick for the last two weeks of July. It was awful. I needed time mentally and physically to heal. Thank you for all who have been patient. Enjoy the chapter.

Bradley sat up, frustrated. Who was she with? There wasn't anyone she could be interested in... what about Tony? That guy had been very close to Jasmine that night at the asylum.
He took a deep breath, annoyed. Why was he worrying about this when Jasmine had just admitted that it was MIkolaj who had landed him at the hospital? He would have a word with that one once he was better.

He looked over at the clock, which read 3:09am. He couldn't sleep. Cora had came, gave him some food and left. She hadn't looked too thrilled, but he didn't want to ask why. It must have been about her brother. If Jasmine was speaking the truth, something must have happened.

He tried to recline back on his pillows, but nothing was making sleep come.

At least he hadn't dreamt while he was here.

He shivered. Why had they decided to go to that stupid asylum anyway? Jasmine, Roxanne, they could have all died.

He managed to get out of bed. He wanted to walk a bit, clear his mind. The nurses probably wouldn't care right now.

The hallway was empty. His head throbbed a bit, and the pain in his hand was more than dull, but it felt nice to get up. Muscles that he didn't know were sore ached all over, probably from laying in bed for so long.

He turned a corner when he heard some muffled voices. The nurses desk was empty. Strange.  There had to be a nurse on this floor.

The voices got a tad bit louder. He recognized the voice, somewhat. It was triggering something in his memory.

"Der be cameras in here." The voice said, roughly. "We best be quick."

Bradley sunk down to his knees, heart racing. It was the gunman! He was sure of it.

He crawled behind one of the desks, trying to gain control of his breathing. He felt so tired. There was no way he could make a run for it.

He heard the boots stomp down the hallway, making some squishy noises as they approached closer. It must have been raining outside. Where were these nurses??

"Hi, excuse me, who were you looking for? It's past visiting hours." He heard someone say. He sighed. He was saved.

"Is it now?" Another voice said.

"Why are you masked? Show yourselves." The female said. Her voice was shaking.

Bradley heard some shuffling and someone falling to the ground. It must have been the nurse.

"I hope she the only one here." The gun-man's voice sounded amused.

"Let's hurry up. He should be in one of these rooms," the other voice Bradley couldn't recognize said. He heard them run down the hall.

Bradley tried to catch his breath. He was not going to have a panic attack. Not now.

He closed his eyes, trying to relax. They were clearly looking for him, why else would they be here?

There has to be a phone, he thought. He poked his head, quickly scanning the nurse's station.

He made sure they weren't around and crawled on his good hand, heart pounding. His ear's felt like they were about to burst from the pressure he felt. He grabbed the phone and dialed 911.

She felt ready for her exam. It was nice to talk to Tony. He had kept her distracted for a while at least.
